She is way ahead of any of her rivals in this race and she has the added bonus of the mares allowance.
She won't mind the ground and on a line of form through Esoterique she has plenty in hand.

Workrider being proved right twice but still loses his dough.

Right about Alice Springs.
Right about Ryan Moore riding too many shockers and that was a shocker.

Everybody keeps telling me how good Ryan Moore is but all I keep seeing is a jockey riding consistently badly and too far off the pace.
Report frank60 June 17, 2016 4:38 PM BST
I have to agree Wildman, W/R wont be sending a birthday card to Ryan moore this year,
Report wildmanfromborneo June 17, 2016 4:48 PM BST
Moore seems to have made more mistakes this season than Lester and Pat Eddery did in their entire careers.

Pat Smullen seems to always be in the right place is the best front running jockey around,a better jockey all round than Ryan Moore.
Report newapproach June 17, 2016 4:55 PM BST
Fallon gave now or never a shocker as well, going for home before swindley bottom and being swallowed up in the last furlong having looked the winner @ that stage. Went for home way too early.
Report Bigwillystyle June 17, 2016 4:55 PM BST
Couldnt disagree more Wildman.

Smullen has had numerous chances for outside trainers in England over the last few months and has ridden brutally in most of them. He is a great man in Ireland but once outside he is bang ordinary.  Very poor on hold up horses as you saw yesterday in the Ascot gold cup where he had the horse in all sorts of trouble.
I would pick Ryan Moore everyday of the week.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 17, 2016 4:59 PM BST
What do you think of Moores riding this year ?

I accept he can be brilliant but I've never ever seen a jockey of any description give so many bad rides in such a short period.

I'm not a follower of the ordinary British racing so accept others will give a more rounded opinion.
Report Bigwillystyle June 17, 2016 5:03 PM BST
Im no follower of British racing either.  I accept Moore is riding poorly but all Jockeys go through bad spells.  He is still imo a better jockey than Smullen.  Now my bias is probably on the fact that i have backed Smullen 4 or 5 times in the last year and everyone of them have gotten stinking rides, even the winning ones!!
Report frank60 June 17, 2016 5:12 PM BST
I would back Ryan in a driveing finish any day ,i think what wildman is saying is his poor positional sense during the race.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 17, 2016 5:13 PM BST
I can't really remember a bad Smullen ride.
All I see is week in week out a jockey in the right place,a jockey judging the pace perfectly from the front.

One thing about Dermot Weld is throughout his training career he has always managed to have a world class rider riding for him.
Report The Gotchee June 17, 2016 5:32 PM BST
Landofhopeandglory  has a lot of improvement in him and Ryan Moore's luck has to change. M.Hussey gave him a very sympathetic ride last time out.
