I know I said Belgium are over rated and I still very much believe they are, but fcuk me, what a poor tournament it's been,Anyone can win it, Belgium haven't turned up yet and have the look of a team who will peak when it matters plus they're in the east side of the draw, Croatias down fall was peaking too early, they shot their bolt and paid the price, I'll be all over Poland to dump the serial enigmas that is Portugal in the next round,

I remember in the 82 World cup Italy draw there 1st 3 games and went on to Win the World cup; Paolo Rossi was the main man that year.

strange quater final lineups tbhFancy poland to sneak past portugal but will watch first 15 mins before betting as portugal may be very defensive again Wales are a big price v belgium imo,still not convinced about the belgiums but they have looked good France wont be taking iceland for granted but should have enough to win Germany v Italy could be a great match m,both very different approaches ,germany to go through imo could take extra time Anyway not a great tournament so far ,hope to see some better games from here on in Backed France outright at 10.5 at halftime in ireland game so hope they do it but will be tough to beat germany |

Portugal have 4 real players, Pepe(who might be the form Centre Back in the world), Moutinho (industrious and clever, though not on same level of the other 3) Renato Sanchez, and Ronaldo whose legs are going.
If you'd said 2 years ago that Portugal would make the semis with Quaresma and Nani as two of their front 3, most would've said no chance. Most of their team is non-descript to me, despite some of the big price tags bandied about re their other midfielders. They've done really well to get this far. |
