For backing a 9/4 - 5/2 winner at the weekend, hopefully it does  not go to your head.

That " sums " degree doesn't seem to be doing you much good.
This combined with your inability to comprehend betting markets causes you to misread everything.

I laid Minding @ 1.37 this shortened to 1.31 with the non runners.
It was my first lay in ages.

Jaysus Rocket you're gone bedamned altogether.

You are accusing everyone of everything on an ould crocky computer, are the keys sticky or what?

Twas 1.31 when i posted on Wildmans thread.
I'm sure Gant is correct with the jersey situation.

Its kinda like you are just lashing out, shure that kinda Eurovision betting could happen anyone.
OR are ya having trouble with little women?  If so i'm quite sure a few on here would be able to at least attempt to give you the benefit of their life experience.

C'mon Rocket, what the feck like?

That's the statement of a man who doesn't bet, doesn't understand how betting works.
This is the same individual who didnt understand what 10/11 each of two meant.
Didnt understand how you get a draw on the handicap.
Thought the shortest price horse on a given day was automatically the best backed horse of that day.

Its a good job he doesn't bet.

Wildman again making the claim he somehow laid a horse at the same price the bookmakers on track laid it at, wildman at some stage you learn you need to stop digging.
Report wildmanfromborneo May 29, 2016 10:30 PM BST
There's only one person digging.

I will have to spell it out for you.
Normally layers on here have to go bigger odds than the on course layers.
In this case Minding drifted.

I laid Minding on Saturday night at 1.37 for 6892,went to the Curragh the next day.
When I go racing I don't use exchanges,I don't ever lay.
There were a number of non runners in the Guineas.

Your friend Ozymandius was caught telling little white lies over some non existent winning bet,a horse was tipped up at evens by the Crispians,he claimed to have backed it not noticing a non runner.
He like yourself seemed not to know about Rule 4.

There is a Rule 4 on here and its punitive.
In this case it reduced my liability from 2550 to around 2100.
It didnt matter as it lost and I wasn't aware of it till I got home.
Report Rocketfingers May 29, 2016 10:44 PM BST
Makes no sense why a person would lay the night before and not hold out and see what the weather would do? Esp if you are wagering that sort of money, i think you have been badly caught out here and you need to move away from your keyboard.
Report wildmanfromborneo May 29, 2016 10:54 PM BST
You aren't really following.

I was there Saturday,I saw the state of the ground.
That was only one of my reasons for laying,my other was this was an afterthought for Minding.

Sometimes horses drift and she drifted, bookies were bawling take 5 to 2 at the off.

If you or any else can find evidence of this, I will send you a cheque for 5K and the finder a cheque for 5K.  That should make it worth peoples while to go digging.  Digging for something that never ever happened.

You need to learn a lesson; stop lying, stop inventing stories, stop questioning a man of impeccable integrity.

Little wonder I can't be bothered to contribute anymore.

When you have failed to find a story that never happened, you might show some dignity and apologise.  I won't hold my breath.

€5k Ozy,  that's chicken feed to wildman he'll have that and more on a few lays in Ballinrobe tomorrow night and all at the same price as the lads on the track too if not better.
Report pa lapsy May 30, 2016 11:28 AM BST
You are gone all very moral D'ozy and as you are in that vein maybe you may want to comment on Rocket.

The facts are Minding was 1.31 after the withdrawals, the 1.37 would be correct, there was a late drift but that has nothing to do if 1.37 was taken.

I can't see the issue with this, the lay was based on either her not handling the ground or imo more relevant it was not her target, one only needed to be right and maybe the other had a bit of substance as well as the ground suited others better.
Everyone was aware there were thunderstorms on Saturday.

Why the knocking?
Report Ozymandius May 30, 2016 11:33 AM BST
Make yourself a quick 5K Pa (god knows you demonstrably have nothing better to do with your time)  or shut the f**k up.

No interest in the minutae of the Minding bet one way or the other.
Report pa lapsy May 30, 2016 11:40 AM BST
I'm right though.

Give me 5k(for charity) if you put up a soccer bet after a team has scored,i've no problems there.

Don't be telling me to shut up,the only waste of time on here is replying to the likes of yourself.

First off no one is knocking anyone Pa, i started the thread to congratulate wildman on his winning bet, i still stand by that and hopes he has many future successes for that matter. There were some decrepancies in what he claimed and some have made an observation or 2 about these claims. The only thing i would say on Saturday night 4/11 was freely available with books, some past comments on this forum would mean that was impossible to lay at the same price. He has gone very defensive and if you look at his initial post he was straight on the attack, lashing out which there is no need for as mentioned above people were only pointing out decrepancies.
Report pa lapsy May 30, 2016 11:50 AM BST
Sound for your "contribution" to the forum, usual from you, absolute zero, nothing about anything,a coattail hanger on.
Report wildmanfromborneo May 30, 2016 11:52 AM BST
It's there alright,its a few years back.
I will bet my lifeblood that the gist of the story is correct,Ozymandius pretended to have won x amount on an even money shot without realising there was a withdrawal, his riposte was he hadn't checked his balance.

Others can try to verify this if they like but going on past form there will be a rat a tat sound when they tried to collect.

The last time this happened was with Robo ( I think ) another forumite came up with the relevant post this was over a sterling bet of a grand.

Very plausible story, i backed a horse yesterday morning in uttoxeter at 5's i mentioned it to a friend in passing that i fancied the beast and after it won i was happy with my 5's. However it was BOG race and it was returned at 9's, these things happen another day it could be a rule 4.
Report wildmanfromborneo May 30, 2016 12:10 PM BST
Of course it's there you have just told so many porkies on here you have forgotten.

It could be around the time you were caught out on the Spain Chile game,do you remember that one you came on screaming when your good your good only for someone to gently point out your sole victory here was a chronic case of aftertiming.

Is it not time for you to head off for some virtual luncheon washed down by some inappropriate wine.
Report Ozymandius May 30, 2016 12:19 PM BST
If it's there, it should be a very very simple, quick straightforward task to bring it up.  Find it.

There are at least half a dozen people on here with nothing better to do that can help you search.

Would you prefer to be proved right OR, caught, once, again, inventing slanderous porkies with no basis in fact?  Or are you so devoid of integrity that it doesn't actually matter to you?
Report pa lapsy May 30, 2016 12:25 PM BST
Oh the irony, there he is with his 17k+ replies and he telling those with nothing better to do to "search"

Spain vs Chile was the match,it was on the same theme, a very cringeworthy aftertime in the extreme and an insight into the man himself.

Could the last retard left on here, kindly turn out the light before they leave.

It is interesting to note that the man that finds the word Oriental offensive ( and is regularly offended on others behalf ) throws around words like retard and moron in a hissy fit.
Report wildmanfromborneo May 30, 2016 3:52 PM BST
He then again rather hypocritically misrepresents Pa Lapsy when his reference to the Spain Chile match was a separate piece of aftertiming.
Report pa lapsy May 30, 2016 10:18 PM BST
I'm not claiming anything of the sort as you well know Dozy, typical of your 17k replies, nothing of substance and a fair bit of pure poison.

What about the 5k to charity if you want to deny you aftertimed the football match to try and big your miserable existence up?
Report Rocketfingers June 3, 2016 10:24 PM BST
I think what we can saftely say here was this bet was an out and out fluke and that her price was actually quite big at 2/5.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 4, 2016 11:21 AM BST
Rocketfingers still not getting it.

What makes Aidan OBrien the best trainer in the world is his ability to train them for the day, this same quality is the bane of punters as his horses sometimes get beaten in prep races.

The 1000 guineas was an afterthought for Mnding, this wasn't her target.

She is an exceptional filly and looks a great bet for the Prix De LArc.
Report Rocketfingers June 4, 2016 8:51 PM BST
She would have won the 1,000 guineas only she hit her head coming out of the starting stalls, i can't imagine a man who everybody to a person say he leaves no detail unturned saying on a Tuesday lets bri ng her to the Curragh on Sunday, the truth is she was excellent value and would have won easy only she hit her head and you had a lucky bet. If the same race was run again in a few weeks under the same going she would be 1/4. Congrats man you had your bet, you got lucky, now let it go and admit it.
Report slickster June 5, 2016 1:44 PM BST
The wildman's naivety rears its ugly head yet again. To claim Minding looks a great bet for the Arc is total nonsense.

When was the last time an Oaks winner, and a very poor Oaks at that, went on to win an Arc?
She is the best of her age and sex, and what a bad lot the rest are. Save your money wildman...
