I fancy a lot of the short ones. 1 Let her cry 2 Admiral Brian - looked a bit of a dog in navan but that form is best in field 5 Vent de la Cote - hard outfit to predict but won a decent maiden hurdle indicating that is a 120 horse & ran a nice race in naas last time 6 De Benno EW 7 Presenting Percy - desoite starting price was thought to be a nice horse when ran 2nd on debut to a good horse.
Have a great evening.Lovely meeting Ballinrobe.

it wouldnt be my thing backing yokes at evs or odds on that were 50/1 lto but there looks nothing in it to beat presenting percy if he runs like last time..

Regarding Presenting Percy on form his second to Battleford (who has finished 2nd in the Aintree and Cheltenham bumpers) makes him near unbeatable but if you look at the form of that Punchestown bumper the third was beaten 61l at 4/6 next time out at Wexford. The 4th hasn't run and the 5th has been well beaten twice.
No winner has come out of that race so I would not be playing at 8/13 and there are two in with a good shout
Elliott has a great record in Ballinrobe bumpers, he is 5/13 the last ten years Meade has only had one bumper runner at Ballinrobe, Leopards Leap is by Arcadio and should go on the heavy ground. I have backed this and done reverse forecasts with the Elliott horse

Started off last, lost ground for no reason, hassled the horse going into a few hurdles,Meyler not his usual free flowing self.
Why he would risk so much for Karl Thornton a mystery.
Will Donogh Meyler get 30 days ?Started off last, lost ground for no reason, hassled the horse going into a few hurdles,Meyler not his usual free flowing self. Why he would risk so much for Karl Thornton a mystery.
I backed Duke Cass (the horse being talked about above) and don't think the ride merited a ban. Giving away so much ground at the start is poor but that goes unpunished every day of the week, and the horse wasn't exactly pulling himself into the race. Maybe Meyler just made it look better than it was but tough to hand out a ban. He has plenty of reason to please Thornton he has ridden more winners for Thornton than anyone else and Thornton's a decent trainer. He rides for Tony Martin too so I'd say he's pretty well versed in this sort of thing. Colgan got 21 days for his ride on Definite Earl, certainly could have been ridden more firmly between last 2 but you see worse go unpunished.
