any thoughts on how fit Tiger Roll is and why Rory Cleary riding him.
looks a very poor maiden .Roconga a 116 rated hurdler so at least 20lbs below Tiger , the horses that have ran or have ratings all look very moderate.
Fallon riding a first time out 4yo by Motivator with a tongue strap trained by a man whose runners the weekened were not mapped.
please give me some encouragement to bathe my feet

Horse looked gone at the game last season, hasn't progressed from his juvenile year, the very fact he's ended up in a race like this would have me worried. Is he fully fit or is this a pipe opener for a hurdle race? It wouldn't be the first time a highly rated hurdler ran poorly on the all weather, I remember Violet Dancer being beaten at 1/5 at Lingfield before winning the betfair hurdle. Dreadful race but I liked In The House, made a decent start for Luca Cumani in a Newbury maiden, running to a higher level of form than any other flat form here, and Luca Cumani's would usually improve a fair bit for their debut. He didn't back it up on his next start (worryingly on polytrack) but was hampered at the start, and now with McCreery I'm hopeful he can confirm his promise. I think he's a very decent bet at a big enough price.

i would appreciate views on the maiden 8.00? shin impala?

G Lyons describes his as quite ordinary and i dislike the attitude shown by Tonkinese in its last 2 runs , Surely  A Shin Impala could progress enough to worry him out of it.
best of luck whichever way you play.
re tiger roll i have been informed that Rory rides because of his association with Lynn Lodge breeze up establishment

Fascinating race in the sense that Tiger Roll looks as OP thinks looks about 20lb+ the best horse in this, good argument to the contrary by CustonCut and he could well be right also. Gordon and the fact that Tiger Roll has done well after breaks before has me in the pro camp and maybe/hopefully the break has refreshed TR. He is weak at around 13/8-7/4 at this time with Roconga very solid. Usually a few fellas there with crystal balls in the minutes before the off. Can see both layers and backers points but at this price i had a small bet.

Roconga backers very unlucky.

Yes, by far the best horse on the night, mistake to have kept on the rails.
Tiger Roll did nothing wrong, looked one paced, didn't fancy the winner at all.
