FFS whats happening here ? . Huddys takes the time to explain his reasons for backing a few players ,and some joker takes it down . Give over ,the guys just starting a thread for our entertainment . Most of us would do our business on here anyway , really petty stuff from Betfair imo...

Has to be a big hitter this week on the " Blue Monster", If ever Dustybin is ever going to win this year this course has to be it. Bubba, Fowler and McIlroy will also be suited at this track.
Dustin Johnson win 14's betfair.
Best of luck all.

Burnt enough on Bubba at similar prices too leave him out. Same with DJ.
Don't think we've seen Rory @ double digits since Hoylake(open to correction). Backed him @ 12.5.
Adam Scott has to be backed at 16.5 on here. He's playing the great golf and has the course form.
Like all the three South Africans and have backed accordingly.
2 others that could surprise.
If he can keep the big numbers off his card Brooks Koepka has the game to compete. The other is my old fav. Kiredech Aphibarnrat. 500 on here, 7/1 for T20 finish. Considering you can put a line through half the field based on lack of length alone he looks worthy of a small investment.

Possibly/probably not Lewisham, but it's also it might not be the bombers paradise we all expect.
Like having 5 backed on one side in the Wokingham, it may to hav one drawn low even though everything points to high being favoured!!
There have been slight modifications since last year, and Brandt Snedeker was drafted into help with these. To help the shorter hitter.
Stickels could have levelled it out overnight!!
If there is a shorter hitter to trouble the Boom Boys, I think G Mac will be that man. Worth paying at the price IMO.

12-1 might look daft by the end of the week on the world number one.

I expected Rory to be approx. 5-2 after holing his putt on the last.
I still think it will be very hard for Adam Scott to go 4 rounds without a mental aberration or two, having been in the heat of battle the last two weeks. Today may be the day he crumbles.
DJ is a silly price for someone whose conversion rate is so poor.
I decided if Rory was 3s I would back him, as serious back up to Bubba(and Phil, who nearly made me cry last night!!). I was very surprised to see 7-2 on offer.
One swallow doesn't make a summer, and it is notoriously hard to back up such a big round(though similar surely applies to Scott and DJ in that regard), but Rory did look extremely solid on the greens. Such is his nature, that confidence really is King. He struts around and expects to be brilliant when the putts are going in. He could be very hard to repel over the weekend.
5pts Rory McIlroy 7-2

Agreed that I think that 3 consecutive weeks contending must surely have a mental effect on Scott at some stage this weekend but I wouldn't bet my mortgage on it though!_McIlroy made everything yesterday, I expect that he will resume to norm over the weekend. This is DJ's track and I am confident he will get job done with Bubba a big danger possibly.

Jason Dufner didn't do a whole lot yesterday, but still stiffed quite a few hole side. His game in still in excellent shape, and I would expect a decent round today.
Harris English has struggled the last year or so, and will be that bit more nervy today.
Dufner should be a firm fav about the 1.7 mark IMO. 2.2 is very big indeed.
3pts Jason Dufner @ 2.2 17.55 2 Ball.

A good stat for all Rory backers, he has won 7 from 8 while a 54 hole leader, only losing the masters in 2011 when 5 ahead. Impressive front running, I hope it is 7 from 9 @ 10.45pm!

Adam Scott had his worst round in 3 weeks yesterday. Certainly not the ball striking machine he has been. He could bounce back today if he gets off to a flyer, and adrenalin takes over.
That's a big If in my book.
Phil is surely the more likely of the duo to put in a decent 18 holes. Toying between backing Phil, or laying Scott in the 2 ball. Have erred on the side of caution and laid the Aussie.
4pts lay Adam Scott @1.92(potential liability 3.68pts) 18.40 2 Ball

You were dead right apple! Not quite as big a price as last week but can't complain about a 14/1 winner I guess

He went out there yesterday with completely the wrong mindset wonks. All he thought he had to do was par his way around to collect the trophy and when things started to go a little pear shaped for him he wasn't in the right frame of mind to be able to correct it
