1st time traveller.. Heading over for the Tues & Wed.. What do you guys usally do regards sterling? books, betting on course etc

You will need the sterling anyway,the rate is favourable at the moment.
British bookies take Euro but they sometimes engage in a bit of gouging better to bet in sterling. |

100% right wildman, unless its a bookie you know and deal with regular, if im in ireland i only bet in euro, ive seen bookies make £500 a day @the festival just taking 1-2euro of each bet ..when its busy your not looking or paying attention are you?be on the ball lads..

Goreski, there will be lots of Irish bookies there betting in euros. Mulvannys O'Hare Finnigan etc.So no worries on that score.
