World No. 1 Lydia Ko is four shots back after a second-round 70, still nicely poised after what she regarded as a "tough day'' on the course. Ko, the defending champion, said the breezy conditions made it tough to decide whether to attack or play safe. "Either way it was playing really tough but I see there are some lower scores out there so they must have played some pretty superb golf."
Our man LOUIS at -5 has his work cut out (8 shots back from Aussie PGA Champ Nathan HOLMAN). Willett @ -8 has a better chance of winning. |

Jordan struggled all day yesterday...OWGR #1 lost 5.057 strokes with the putter including a trio of three-putts...missed eight from inside 10 feet...also lost 2.651 strokes tee-to-green...a reminder that golf is hard !

Remember last year, James Hahn winning the 3way playoff from PAUL CASEY and DUSTIN JOHNSON - both T6 in the MASTERS ! Also last year, the T4 here was Hideki (5th in the MASTERS) and JORDAN SPIETH - Your Masters Champion ! Augusta is less than 50 days away so backed RORY 7/1. |

Some BIG names to have missed-the-cut in Kuala Lumpur include Martin KAYMER #36 in OWGR and Chris WOOD #6RTD & #42 in OWGR.
It has already proved costly for Thorbjørn OLESEN #11RTD (& #57OWGR) and Grégory BOURDY #12RTD as the Top 10 from Race to Dubai (RTD) next Monday qualify for the valuable WGC-CADILLAC CHAMPIONSHIP @ Trump National Doral (Blue Monster Course) on March 3rd-6th. Thomas PIETERS #9RTD has an anxious wait to know his fate. Also missing the cut were Matthew FITZPATRICK #45OWGR and Kiradech APHIBARNRAT #44OWGR who must remain inside the Top 50 on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) on Feb. 29th. The Top 10 in Fed-Ex-Cup Points on Feb. 29th also qualify. |
