A few doubly declared as well Tony, surprised to see both entries in the opener as it is only a 6k pot, they seem way better than that. Jennies Jewel would be interesting in the listed mares there. Newbury's bumper looks a very hot race, Mullins Bleu Berry is interesting, seems to have a bit of fair French form at lesser tracks and has an entry in the Supreme, hasn't been seen for a while, might just be getting a guage all the same and wonder will is it Aubrey(?) will ride? Anyone see Enzani's ride at Dundalk last Friday? Was pulled in by the stewards but no action, they have shown their hand all the same with it.(worth a look)

As poor as Gowran is runners wise, the two matinees UK meetings Newbury/Warwick are even worse, few swerves probably with the heavy ground, boderline timewise for next month with a hard race.

Had a pretty large bet for me on ONE OF US in that Newbury bumper.
Green as grass at Cheltenham but still would have won that race with another furlong to go. Will be more streetwise today. Trainer thinks the world of it and it gets all the allowances and carries just 10st 7lb. Pity there are not 8 runners but happy to go win only at 6/1 early prices tonight.
I see the NTD horse as the danger.

I like jonjos in the bumper but its abad sign that dickie has chose to ride your one..im very sweet on frys jessbers dream @15/8 back up in distance the 2m she ran and 2nd to myska didn't suit..shes better over further..and im on.

GL tony, suppose the warwick race depends if you can take the jennies jewel run behind VVM literally. The bumper is a strange one, I am hoping Dickie has chosen right, it is a race of seven runner and 6 of them have won. The exception is my selection who is a winner without a penalty

Jonjo wouldnt train a dog to sit down, the first thing to do is to when you come to any race in the winter time, draw a line through jonjos immediately. You wont go far wrong with that theory. Where he may be more dangerous is at places like Worcester in the summer, when he has 300k horses running off selling marks in two bob races.

Apparently not qualified to run in Irish Bumpers..

Thanks Koikeeper, i was looking at that for a while and just thought it a strange entry for the want of a better expression, not backing him but the swerving of some bigger names from the entries gives it some chance if fit enough. Fair views above on it. Like Jennies Jewel for a long time, hope she does it for her small yard,11/4 seems a big price.

Maybe,me fancying it would be enough. Still,Mullins one ran a stinker last time(Flute Bowl only a few lths better),think Jessbers Dream is unproven myself, she could well be good enough all the same. Two rags make up the field. The last run may have flattered her but would you not think she done enough previously to warrant a fair shot anyway?(ie The Dedigouts for one),Seems to be coming into form which is a plus as well. Massive lay is a brave statement may well be beat but doubt it will be by far.

Wow two massive lays in the SAME race, Smashing only has to stand up according to these two posters ,as Luke would say GET ON!. Not bothering going poor card overall...

frys mare has won over 2m3-4, trainer thinks the further she goes the better..no excuses today, I very rarely back a jonjo horse carnt stand the man..but this horse did it well..and you have to go with your eyes..but as I said Johnson could of rode this..but gone for Williams runner ..maybe a tip in itself...ive had one bet @gowran SKELLIG ROCKS @4/1 im hoping the extra trip will help..good luck all

If ever Ballycasey is going to win another race it will be today.Ruby and Willie in a small field conditions race -one of the runners is a 1000 another looks certain to bounce -2/1 is fair.

Disappointed with the run of mine in the bumper, my danger won. Unbelievably the winner opened at 4/1 last night. Hammered into 11/8 and wins with penalty against previous winners.
Looks the best we have seen either side of the irish sea.
