2.50 Naas - Fairly legal @5/2

I was astounded that 6 yo beneficial gelding was priced  at 3/1 earlier, having gone through the race last night I made him around 6/4 fav and was willing to take 2/1 or bigger. There are some dangers about a green and gold runner having its third run over hurdles but this in my opinion is compensated by what I believe is a massively enhanced price.

The appropriately named fairly legal was given a gentle introduction at Mallow as his price expanded from a morning 7/4 to 4/1 on here come the off. This was in contrast with a Tony Martin plunge horse who easily landed the spoils. FL shaped encouragingly there without ever being asked any serious questions over the minimum trip.

He duly stepped up on that run again over 2 miles at Naas where again looking one paced in the finish. The placed horses at Naas have accentuated my opinion that was a decent run by subsequently substantiating the form of that race. The third 5 lengths adrift has since obliged in a Fairyhouse maiden where as the 4th and 5th (beaten over ten lengths by FL) have both being runner ups in their respective moderate maidens.

Irish maiden hurdles are probably one of the most enticing betting medium for punters and this race is no different with an exposed and limited current favourite who doesn't look progressive. Where as the majority of the  leading market protagonists have being campaigned over similar trips to what they encounter tomorrow, the selection should relish this marked increase in stamina. Tuzo is entitled to improve from his hurdling debut.

Fairly legal looks progressive, consistent and there is likely to be a correlation in an improved performance with the increased emphasis on stamina. A winning pointer at Dromohane   where he got up late also might suggest that he should improve for it. The tenuous collateral form lines between call it magic/space cadet/uantseeingnothingyet are also somewhat encouraging but their transferable accuracy is difficult to decipher.

I think that's another great post from DJ876 as it stands.

It s now however turned out spot on as the favourites have flip flopped.

DJ876 has got the market right again lets hope Fairly Legal goes on to win.

I,m not too enamoured with Call It Magic.
Uaintseennothingyet and Robin Thyme have franked the form to a fair extent behind Fairly Legal since,my opinion he did travel well that day, slight bit disappointed he couldn,t quicken though heavy ground, just a flat, one paced finish. Always think these are beatable but really looks a 2 horse race.
Looking at Haymounts finish last time it is similar to Fairly Legal, think both today will travel well and for me Haymount looks the liklier to quicken better.Thumbstone Blues and SteamboatBill have also franked that last run.
Was going to leave the race alone but 2/1 Haymount looks big now to me, also Ruby's quote "Sunday will be Haymounts day" was enough.

Wonks and Scouse Tony sneering at the articulateness of the opening post.  What a couple of degenerate dumb f*cks.

Ah Workrider, cut Ozy some slack. He is very upset over the Jamie Carragher Soccer Camp issue.
Report freddiek February 7, 2016 11:54 AM GMT
its a measure of ozy's hypocrisy and nastiness that he praises the op yet i've seen him deride other people with equally well-written and detailed posts saying something like - "haven't time to read all that, Yawn"

absolute TW@T.

Willie will accept Roberts challenge with alacrity today , graceful movements in the betting ring will abound, will the bookmakers spot them that is the question. Slight of hands, as money passes from one hand to another ,tic tack men bemoaning the fact they are no longer required to translate. Sences of olden days, the smell of the chase, money a plenty . Collateral form meaningless as these two set out for battle ,a brief synopsis of the above .
I fancy Haymount to beat Fairly Legal no matter how much the Tyners yoke is punted .

Well done DJ, my hats off to you ,you were 100% correct , it was obvious from the first hurdle he was going to win ,straining at the bit all the way round, when the jock finally did let out a rug he quicked up nicely and will win again when they want him, that is.
