Freddiewilliams . Punchestown for jumping and viewing, Leopardstown would be a close second , for quality of racing on the flat Curragh, thou it lacks atmosphere and only comes alive on Derby day imo.

Freddiewilliams for an old style days racing come to Thurles,a great viewing track,it might not have the frills but it has that country feel to it.

Report wildmanfromborneo January 30, 2016 8:35 PM GMT
A long time since I saw anything like it,I thought he was going to pull it up as he dropped back,no assistance from the saddle.

Very odd Norn, hard to know what to make of it,might be well wrong but the impression i got they didn't want it but the horse was too good?

It would be easier to explain the reason for this thread than explain DJ876s bewilderment.

Poor old DJ,he thinks long words give substance and credibility to everything, common sense would tell you what this thread is about, something poor DJ lacks it appears..

Report punchestown February 1, 2016 11:37 AM GMT
Dr Waluigi strangled throughout but was going so well it kept pulling itself into contention, right there for everybody to see.
Report kavvie February 1, 2016 11:55 AM GMT
you would wonder at the logic of that.if it was ready and capable of winning why not win?
Report mincer11 February 1, 2016 6:44 PM GMT
Because it's ridden and trained by a lightweight .
Type of guy who has to show the world what he already knows before he can believe it himself.

M.P. Butler, rider of Dr Waluigi, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free to the start and was a difficult ride during the race which pulled himself to the front until giving a heave at the third last hurdle. He added that he started his challenge turning into the straight but missed the second last hurdle, took a blow going to the final hurdle which he jumped very tired and plugged on to the finish
