Lovely hurling, The Gothcee and Norn with the Thyestes.

Not too shabby with another few races on here either.

Well done applehunter.

Why was his first post removed? Did someone not want him to get credit for the pick?

I think the gobber got it taken down. Under no circumstances was he sharing the limelight, and in fairness if you backed your first winner since JFK got shot, you'd like your moment in the sun

WD Gotchee.

10 out of 10 for perseverance.

Fair is fair now Mincer, its not that long. If memory serves me correctly, he put up the same horse in the same race last time year when he finished second.

Long time between drinks, but as I say great perseverance. I didn't get to see WMFB awards, but I imagine Gobshee was up for some such award.

WD again.

You have to enjoy these days.

Full bus up from Cork. Always are great day, but to have a 20/1 winner makes it all the better.

Had to give some moral support to The Gotchee earlier. Wink

My Murphy 3.15 20/1
High class stayer who could still be a bit ahead of his mark. Ran a cracker on his first run back on the troytown and slow pace wouldn't have suited last time in the paddy power. Good luck.

Well done New App, excellent stuff.

REMOVED POST...

Catch Me ifyoucan • January 31, 2018 12:51 PM GMT
Philip Reynolds' patronage of all trainers great and 'small' is a refreshing aspect to Irish national hunt racing and his alliance with Galway based handler Pat Kelly yielded another winner at Punchestown today, as the pair won the Toals.com Casino E500 Bonus Maiden Hurdle with Eagle Lion.
Ridden by Davy Russell, eight year old Eagle Lion readily justified 11/10 favouritism when scoring a six lengths win over Stoneford to gain his first career win on just his third start.
Kelly, who won the past two renewals of the Pertemps Hurdle at Cheltenham with Reynolds-owned runners, later commented “we'll see where we go now - I was hoping he would win today.
“We might bring him back here on February 11 for a three-mile handicap hurdle - it depends on what way the handicapper rates him.”
Owner Reynolds has run horses from seven different yards this season, including leading trainers Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott, and his alliance with Kelly yielded Thursday's Galmoy Hurdle winner Presenting Percy, who is again Cheltenham-bound following last March's heroics in the Pertemps Hurdle.
