Very strong finish of Mozoltov in Dan Moore probably makes him very strongly fancied for Thyestes.
Also, most eye-catching run of all over Christmas was the Byrnes/JP horse in the Pertemps - first five qualify for final and he simply coasted home in fifth. Looks a serious contender and only one target in mind all year.
I backed backed Mozolitov in the U.K. and knew my faith after the first fence , so for him to run such a cracker at Fairy was annoying to say the least , he was 7/1 w/o 2 with Frank and I didn't avail of it to my dismay. I'd hold a watching brief with him though , he looked really good one day at Naas I think it was ,and I thought he would go right to the top . You'll probably find Willie had this race as a long therm plan, a race Willie has been targeting for a good few years now with some nice types ,who'd even have thought that Jckadam would reach the heights he did before last years race .
