I'm surprised and not certain you are correct.

This is not meant to be either after timing or boasting but I was only paid a portion of my wager on this double result concession on course by Ladbrokes and only got it because another punter demanded it of them.

I accept they will bet bigger to strangers in racecourse betting shops.

There are no bookmakers betting double result in the ring anymore and its easy to understand why.
The bookmaker paying SP if better is to say the least loud and risk averse.

Calling card , I actually had passes for the 2 days, I didn't gain admission the way you are suggesting. And I go racing purely for gambling, I couldn't give two fukks about the horses and their jockeys. I don't go to the parade ring much and never when a race has finished. Racing is a betting medium for me and GAA and soccer isn't, so therefore I wouldn't cross the road to one of those events.

point taken Mincer , just I go racing all the time and all I see are HRI union cards been brandished by people that are not either owners trainers or working in the industry and gaining free admission, I have shares in a few horses hence my visits to the HRI entrance gate.
We all enjoy racing in different ways u choose yours I choose mine ,

Correct Calling Card,Roscommon I think never had a bet off him in my life nor have any of my punting friends.

You know your in trouble when lads come canvassing with concessions.

Dj876 accept your point but if thats true how come all the shrewdies are not camped in their shops, how come there are any punters on course.
Its a massive concession and one that should affect this crowd of gutless censors.

They are not camped there Dan because they won't be bet. They will be allowed bet at sp and that won't suit them.

Have to pull you up on one of your points wildman. Most "bookies" guarantee prices for singles up to a monkey maximum. Hardly "small stakes" and nothing there for the mugs. You really need to stop presenting stuff as "fact", when they are anything but.
