15.45 Newbury- Premier Bond

A standout 11/8 with Bet 365 but generally an even money shot, would imagine that this progressive Kayf tara gelding will be closer to 4/6 tomorrow. He made a very pleasing hurdling debut when pushing his stablemate (Geraghty/Henderson representative at 2015 festival bumper) all the way at Sandown. 11/8 looks extremely generous if able to avail of it.

14.30 Leopardstown- Nicholas Canyon @ 1/2 - No AF rule 4

No marks for originality but why isn't Nicholas Canyon 2/7 -1/4?

This looks a gift,he jumps like a cat, ground isn't a worry.NC is at least the second best 2 mile hurdler in training and will eat these.

Identity thief is only really of grade 2 standard and don't rate last year's triumph form at all. His grade one win in the fighting fifth of Top Notch puts him at a similar level to Hargam who was dismissed with contempt by Faugheen at Kempton.

Windsor park obviously beat him in the Neptune but that wasn't a fair reflection of NC's ability and NC has the benefit of a seasonal run and this 2 mile trip also plays more to his strengths.

Ruby is worth a few pounds against Cooper at the moment whose confidence is shattered but I doubt it will come down to that as NC has 7-10 lbs in hand of IT imo.

How is Cooper's confidence shattered?
His last ride was a Grade 1 winner.

Your confidence is obviously in tatters, coming on here and putting up two skinny favourites.
Give us something a little less obvious.

Minnie(Mincer)BrennanLaugh just to fill you in.

Simple analysis, last time out Nicols Canyon beat Wicklow Brave into 3rd by 1 and 3/4 lengths.
Identity Thief beat Wicklow Brave, by 10 lengths last time out.
Premier Bond is poor value. I prefer Oldgrangewood. PB needs a trip.

Get stuck in to Identity Thief, 11/4 is manna from heaven.

Ma Garrett  7/1 is another E/W selection I fancy.

The lightly raced 9 year old, Kilford e/w 16/1 can exploit his lenient hurdle rating.

Fancy anything yourself Minnie?Laugh

Gobshee, identity thief has about as much chance of beating nicholls canyon as you do of having a guess fluke a place

Gone against you Tony with Oldgrangewood & Leopardstown bumper I fancy First Figaro to beat the fav. Done a small double on the pair.
Kilbree Chief at Kelso is one I'm pinning my hopes on today & will chance identity Thief in the Ryanair Hurdle.
Mares chase at Doncaster you have to say Pepite Rose & Ma Filleule have the best form on offer but felt Kalane looked like she could be quite special lto so will be backing her for the win.

Best of luck today & hope you're well.

ted says cooper should have 'cut the snot of Ruby on the turn'  - not sure he had the clearance at any stage though - both will be shagged for a while after that though

Well done, couple of winners, always better than a loser.
Tough race for Nicholls C,take awhile for a few to recover from the last couple of days, think he will be alright though. The green'n gold had a royaler overall with the handicaps.

they did indeed PA but still a long way behind Giggy as regards quality stock, No top chaser or hurdler .they must really enjoy short price favs getting beaten  it pays the wages .

I think the ride Cooper gave Identity Thief could be the final straw.
I hate picking on jockeys but he did everything wrong there,he challenged too far out,did it on a bend and then failed to rail.

It was man against boy.

what about his pace judgement on Road to Respect and Alpha  Des , he went far to quickly on both and Don Cossack was pure terrible.
Heskin not much better
Ruby Barry Paul and Davy don't need to worry about anything with these clowns
Also why has AP o B not employed some body better than Fogarty , hes second rate as best. Ap Crowe is better ffs
