bookmakers licences

while a Thurles I was informed that most bookmakers have still not acquired state licences which are needed to trade.
this could lead to to a few gaps in line at the weekend allied to a few recent retirements the men on the boxes are dwindling fast.
I hope it doesn't get to the level its at in the UK midweek and also at Dundalk.
