If you threw a blanket over The Begrudgers on here, there would be one common denominator; all n'er do wells. Bitter disappointment in their own failings, manifested as schadenfreude oozig from their every pore.
The Sutherlands, the Snaps, the Bono's all bestride the global stage with great elan. We should be immensely proud of their impact, success and accomplishments. I actually feel sorry for these repressed, un-progressive illiberal non-elites who are unable to share in the joy of the success of others. |

Cheering on your country at a rugby match is just a bit of sport. We take enjoyment and pride from it. But at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. People matter, and not just our own people. |
