yes I backed her distant..she was impressive..i took 13/8..my luck wins @2/1..but a wins a win..i ended up backing don, that's got some staying power that horse, I was gutted with WILD WEST WIND had the race only to fall at the last..thats 2 in a week for me..harry frys Zulu last Friday..and this one, a case of 2nd itis also..and to sum it up mate of mine is friendly with jimmy moffett, he told me to back highland lodge e/w..i laughed at him

yes I finished up wr..but only just,if that George novice had won @7/1 it would of been a happy day,..tell you what that don real nice ?went to pre parade to get a good look..up close, that Cromwell seems a nice guy, funny thing was the race was named after howard kendall who died recently ex everton boss..and the price was a signed everton shirt...only for Cromwell to turn his nose up at it cos he supports liverpool ..said he'd sell it for £2!..hes got a nice horse tho..job done |

Felt for Henry De today,no doubt the best horse didn't get the race, think it was obvious to everyone bar the stewards that Special Tiara was coming to win,accept it was accidental but sure he would have got it in Ireland.

DeBromhead being an absolute gent probably played a part in the result. Can console himself with the fact he'll train many more Grade 1 winners than Gary Moore over the piece. I'd say the weren't having it!!

Been saying it for years De Bromhead is a top top trainer, about time he's getting the recognition he deserves, seems to have taken a Grade 1 winner or 2 across the water for a lot to take notice though.
