Rigadin de beauchene is a cracking e/w bet in the 2:30 at Chepstow, has lost some of his old sparkle, but he's tackling much easier rivals than what's he use to,will also love the heavy going,

12.20 wild west wind @9/2
I saw this ones bumper , went down to a red hot magnier debutant, nice looking thing and going up in trip will aid its cause, trainers horses normally jump well and good kid in the plate
1.05 flying angel @5/4
this one stood out in the paddock at the course lto and ran with credit going close to a red hot favourite..worry is going back to 2m ,handles the ground.

Don Poli makes plenty of appeal @ Aintree tomorrow Tony , last run best ignored ,most probably had enough by then , the long run between the last 2 fences will be right up his street

Also backed Vic's Canvas over the big fences at Aintree, ran over a shorter than ideal spin over hurdles last time out, should be spot on fitness wise for the race tomorrow,e/w at 14/1,also done an e/w double with Rigadin de beauchene,

Mystery Code in the first at Aintree. This race has been run three times and Alan King has won it twice and was 2nd on the other occasion. He has two running tomorrow, so we will have to trust Wayne Hutchinson's judgement. 11/4

Many Clouds 11/4 will come on immensely for his last run. Don Poli, I think, is a bit over rated. Has he ever beaten a decent horse. Has the RSA left its mark? How many winners have come out of that RSA and won? A big fat Zero. Add to that Willie Mullins poor record with runners in the UK (outside of the Cheltenham Festival). Happy to take Don Poli on.

Pineau de re, ran very well last time out, should come on for the run. A few pounds lower than when he won the National. 12/1 E/W looks a nice price where course form is hugely  advantageous

Gotchee not since montys pass in 03 has a horse that's won a national won a race on the track

And you have the last 2 winners there

Good point one last chance. However, having won the National most horses are penalised heavily by the handicapper. three or four winners have been placed in subsequent Nationals carrying a lot more weight. In this case Pineau de Re is 2 lbs lower than when winning the National and this arguably is a lesser race. The opportunity to run over the Grand National fences are few and far between.

Many Clouds is running on the Mildmay Course in a level weights Listed race.

The French filly is a small little thing but her form in France is quite solid.

The three she has finished behind on a few occasions would laugh at this field. It is unlikely that any of them will come over however given their owners.

She has had difficulty with the Auteuil hurdles some times, not helped by her size and the jockey being fairly inept at presenting her at the obstacle. She has looked a strong traveller in those races but has not seen the race out as strongly as the fillies that finished in front of her. However Carlita, Caresse and Triana are all top class 3 year olds, so it would not be easy to keep pace with them.

Given the form that she has shown, she should probably be favourite here, but her jockey has looked very awkward at a venue that he knows, so how he will deal with these hurdles is uncertain. If she had a UK jockey on board, it would be a different matter and I would bet her. I think she still has a very decent chance and will have a small interest given her price. She could be one that could trade short enough in running if he can get her jumping.

Swardean, both you and iron norm will need it backing that Ballagh with that clown that is riding it, plus he is a 6yo, who dont have a great record in the race..

Jer's Girl was impressive.

Hopefully you backed her Tony as you looked unlucky at Chepstow.

You were right Gemini, needs stepping back up to 3 miles and he could be ok.   Not sure how many 6yo would have run in the race tbf.
