Again, this won't be for everyone, but it's a thinking outside the box type bet. 4/7 on the place part to be in the first 4 being the real value here. Should be 1/5 minimum to be in first 4. The 9/4 on the win half of the bet will look v big come race time also |

YOU could be right Snap but with the bare 16runners punters should be aware of a non/runner in which case the bookies will pay only the 1st 3,might be better doing the bet here 1/4 odds on the 1st 4 regardless of non/runners.

Frank60 being the old dog for the hard road came up with the most prescient advice here.
He correctly warned of the dangers of a non runner when the bare 16 are declared,the biggest certainty of the day was it would finish fourth. |
