Maybe the Woodland Opera race has worked out well enough for the layers to be brave.
Fugi Mountain 2nd to WO has won 3 in a row since.
Robin Thyme was beaten a head nto then was unplaced.
Lip Service has been in the frame on it's next 3 starts.
Catalaunian Fields has since won and been 2nd in his next 4.

Mick Thonic won his sole start in France, 3rd home that day Beuvron has since won 3 races from 7. Explosive who was 7th in that race has finished 2nd in a conditions chase recently.

I could go on but seems a few have potential as well as the fav. I hope he wins but wouldn't be the biggest shock to see him beat.

Just taking a leaf out of your book, after all you are the expert Grin

If you watched his races in the bumpers.... u would know he is one-paced at the end of his races...... but the in-running boys thought he was a 1.1 ........

Maybe he more needs a trip than is one paced, Lots get out paced by speedier types.
Report koikeeper November 22, 2015 1:11 PM GMT
Looked one paced in its point
Report gutfeeling November 22, 2015 1:12 PM GMT
Ah fair enough. Haven't watched it myself.

Wouldn’t say he is soft but he is one paced. It’ll take a while for his supporters but he’ll be a much better horse over fences given a trip.

Sort of what I was angling at TTK. Lot of punters get stuck in the now when for many horses it's about where you see them going in a few years. tell Us More a good example of a baby who will be a proper horse when fully mature and chasing yet he met with defeat over hurdles and gets the overhyped label throw at him.

Exactly GF. Don Cossack is the most obvious recent example. Those big gross types that Gigginstown specialise in can take time. On a lower scale look at Roman Gold. He emptied badly in three bumpers. Given a summer’s grass and he’s been quietly impressive in his last two races.

O'Leary like a certain type of horse doesn't he, Everything is brought with a eye to chasing and a possible Gold Cup contender.
In Don Cossack he may have a strong hand this season.
