Bello big price to take care of Casey and Fran Mol at 11-4 in the early hours. Consistently fast out of the blocks, his outright odds shouldn't be used as a strict barometer for this 3 ball market.
2pts Cabrera Bello 11-4 1.10 am 3 ball.

Caddie tips about the golf course for the OHL Classic at Mayakoba (El Camaleon Golf Club).
Malaysia, China and now Mexico. Well, for starters, in all three places we are not drinking tap water and we are not eating ice! That's my big tip right there but the food in Mexico is fantastic.
How much of an adjustment is it to the different type of grass?
Caddie: I believe the golf course run is all Paspalum. There's a lot more grain at El Camaleon GC but it's all Paspalum. Interestingly enough for those coming from the CIMB in Malaysia, that golf course was all Paspalum. So from Malaysia to Mexico, the grass is the same. But in Mexico, there's a lot more grain?
Caddie: I can remember the first or second day we had a chip. It was a pretty straight forward, to myself I'm thinking we're either tapping this in [for par] or we're chipping this in for birdie. After looking at how into the grain it was, and the fact that we stubbed our chip and moved it about six inches ... the thing we decided after that was, I don't care how good you think you are as a chipper or how good your chipping game is, any time we're around a green and it's into the grain, we're either gonna putt it or we're going to use our hybrid. We're going to do something to roll it. We're not even gonna attempt to chip it off of that grass when it's into the grain. It just isn't worth it because you have to be so perfect. And even if you're perfect, it's hard to hit a good shot. Now the opposite is down grain, chipping is simple.
TAKE ONE OF THESE TO WIN ! Brendan Steele 22/1 Charles Howell III 40's Brian Harman 50's Jim Herman 100/1

ON THE BENCH... Jason Bohn: Hits it straight, holes plenty of birdies and fantastic course history in his last two. Alex Cejka: Paspalum expert and crusty veteran to boot. Scott Brown: His best results are on seaside tracks that don't run too long. This qualifies, as does his win in Puerto Rico on paspalum.

Rose short putting was costly this week. They showed very little of him today, but even in them brief glimpses he had two missed 4 footers.

I went out when it seemed to be the case that there was no more play last night. Was delighted to the updated leaderboard on return.
Knox still in the driving seat though, as he has the par 5 in hand.

Great performance by Gmac , has not been playing well , took his chance today . His closing putt for a par on the 18th was drilled into the hole , and what an approach shot in the playoff !

Yeah, his par putt was very impressive Kelly, as was his putting all week. The approach in the playoff was superb. Was a serious effort from Knox though, backing up from his victory the week prior.
Thanks Kavvie, just a shame I fuc**d up on the double myself

Have posts been deleted or have we a situation where they are sent privately and thanked publicly? Or am I blind?
Cannot see any tipping of McDowell on this thread.

Since the heady days of Tiger and Monty I have found it very hard to pick outright winners at the golf . Thought Rory was getting to the dependable stage , but his strength betting wise was in bounce back largely , and he has not been worth a second look since his injury . Work in progress maybe , interest the factor .
Gnac first surfaced on the thread in running , was not paying much attention to the event , but when I saw Bohn up there I got interested . Interruptions did not help , they invariably skew the less hard bitten pros , but in the circumstances it probably suited Gmac .
Good to see him win , but no one tipped him outright as far as I know . Act of faith backing someone who has not finished anywhere in last year . But in running he was going to be in the mix .

Graeme McDowell returns to form by winning the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. Congrats to callitasucit who was the only one to pick the winner. Not sure what odds he was, so these are the provisional scores based on odds 40/1. I will update later if necessary.

Nothing to do with this thread, but callit has said that he has been having posts removed and I don't doubt that he picked him. However if picks are being sent privately (which they may not be) then the thanks can be private as well. Otherwise it is very juvenile.
I think in this case that one of the posts was taken down as the posts seemed to get gradually less over the course of the weekend.

No I didn't put G Mac up here, as didn't post OHL selections before off. Huddys had been away, and prob assumed that I had as I had texted him what I backed.
I text a few people on Sunday, Kavvie and Huddys included that a double on G Mac and Knox in their respective 3 balls at evens and 6-4 was worth a dabble.
That duly obliged, though I was the only one not to collect, as when I went to check account, if found to my dismay that I had clicked Bohn in the Knox 3 ball. Schoolboy error, but a very annoying one.
No after timing intended form anyone, just an oversight from Huddys and a follow up from Kavvie.
