A quirky individual miles clear on ratings but tomorrow is surely the time to lay this beast.

Forecast is for torrential rain at Navan, could change the ground very much against Arctic Fire.
He appears quirky and best running on off a strong pace, the small field won't suit.
Whilst he was unlucky at Aintree we are still not sure he will stay,Navan a stiff track.
He doesn't do much winning, two wins in his career and none last year.
Finally the big one,the Willie Mullins stable may be backward, the ominous drift and subsequent defeat of Petite Parisienne in Naas a pointer.

Sorry mate, you were badly caught there by myself Laugh, why don't you leave the horses so some of the other lads on here you're clearly finding it difficult to keep in touch, what other sports would you know better than you can bet on? stat by having a punt on that jolly i just flagged up for the forum as a stonker.

You didnt realise that A Thousand Stars had already had 4 runs this season, neither did you seem to realise that this is Arctic Fire first run.

You did the usual jumped in with a mistake, your only hope is for Arctic Fire to win so you can return falsely maintaining you predicted this in the first place.

Backed Monksland last night as 9/2 was too big. Has won at the course, At the trip & on soft and has 3 wins and a SH 2nd on 4 runs at G2 level.
AF has never looked the most straight forward & has never won on soft ground or at the trip & despite his ability he's ran at Graded class 10 times with 8 places but no wins.
On ratings AF can't be beat but using ratings alone is a poor method imo.

Wildman trying to act all superior as usual, yet does not know the horse is actually "THOUSAND STARS". I mean, how long has he been around?
Fingers did try to tell you...........

In fairness to wildmanfromborneo, he was unlucky to lose his money. The decision by Noel Meade to put up a sub standard jockey in a Grade 2 race has ultimately cost him dear. If for example Willie Mullins was looking for a rider, would he entertain Sean Flanagan ?, of course he wouldnt. Thats ultimately  the difference between winners and losers, the losers say after the race" hard luck Sean ", wheras the winners know full well luck had  little or nothing to do with it.

Jimeen, the rider made one error going down to the last............ are you for real.......... how many jockeys make errors at the last...... Many top jocks do it constantly ........... Awful comment
Report J.R.Hartley November 8, 2015 2:42 PM GMT
What would you confided an 'error at the last' to be easygob.......as a matter of iinterest.....Mischief
Report J.R.Hartley November 8, 2015 2:48 PM GMT
I meant consider of course easygob....sorry predictive text thingy is on....bloody annoying tbh.
Report jimeen November 8, 2015 3:15 PM GMT
Easygold, it needed one good jump to put a seal on the race, and the rider didnt get it. You are talking about a seasoned Grade 1 horse who knows exactly how to jump at pace. Obviously horses make mistakes all of the time, at many hurdles and not just the last. In my opinion Flanagan got a chance that his talent doesnt deserve and he blew it.
Report easygold November 8, 2015 3:35 PM GMT
Jimeen..... eh he saw a stride at all the other hurdles....... so did he do that o.k........??????/ jesus I have to laugh....... Ger.Wal,Jon.T.Dav,Feh do it everyday of the week......
Report pa lapsy November 8, 2015 3:40 PM GMT
They get it wrong as well Easygold, not as much but sometimes the horse itself doesn't do what the jockey wants, it was a bit sickening if you were an AF layer or Monksland backer all the same.
Report jimeen November 8, 2015 3:43 PM GMT
It was the last where it needed to see a stride easygold, i think you may be slightly confused. You seem to be missing the point.
Report easygold November 8, 2015 3:44 PM GMT
Of course, but to blame the rider for that is just pocket talking.....
Report jimeen November 8, 2015 3:49 PM GMT
So who do you attribute the error to then ?, its either the horse or the jockey.
Report easygold November 8, 2015 4:00 PM GMT
Horse, jockey stable lad who schools him..... time off the track........... Arctic made three jumping errors a long the way...... not sure which one it is...... that I would use to analyze my report ......... but to blame one jump I can`t have that
