First time since his injury I have considered backing Rory . Some of his golf last week was very good , but still not looking like the hungry fighter . Will wait to see his attitude in running before deciding , no doubt he will be getting maximum coverage along with Spieth . Only one I am interested in so far .

McIlroy battling food poisoning in China
Rory forgot the cardinal rule of international travel: be careful what you eat. The Ulsterman is battling a bout of food poisoning this week at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China. The illness led to McIlroy skipping a photoshoot with other players on Tuesday. He then withdrew from Wednesday's pro-am after only a few swings. "I'm not feeling great to be honest," McIlroy told the European Tour. "I had something (to eat) a couple of nights ago and yesterday wasn't good at all. I thought I would be better this morning, but I had a piece of toast and a couple of bits of melon for breakfast and I came here and tried to hit some balls, but even just making a couple swings my stomach was too sore." Earlier this week, McIlroy tweeted a picture of his dinner menu along with a caption that indicated he may have made the wrong choice: Should have gone for the Ulster Fry ! |

In view of Wee Mac's unfortunate food injury I will take Speith and Reed against the field. With a wee saver on Justin Thomas for old time sakes.

Presumably Rory is currently a drifter , if he is that might change the market and create possibilities elswhere . Must have a look at the market , last I saw ( once ) was Rory at 6.4 , but that was 2 days ago I think .
Health people warning us about sausages and bacon recently . Guess that rules out the Ulster fry ! |

Martin Kaymer has great course form. 40/1 looks a fair bet.
In Saderson Farms I think Will Wilcox will be therabouts. |

Only a round and a half gone for some in the Sanderson Farms due to weather delays. Of those that haven't finished their 2nd round Aaron Baddeley seems to be in the best position by a good way with them. Currently tied 8th,6 behind the leader Castro and 2 behind a share of 2nd you would think with lift and place(?) and receptive greens -3/-4 would be about right for his remaining 14 holes. EW 4 places at 12/1 seems a fair bet whether it will be 54 or according to pga 72 with tomorrow finish. (1.00pm back out)

P/L won`t be done this week either that is for sure........ backing every week before the off in golf in the win market........ who does that....... JOKE
|
|
By:
In a 77 man field, even worse.......... that`s like the halfway cut and still can`t do it..........
|
|
By:
Mc Ilroy got a dose of bad grub beforehand though Easygold, that is just bad luck.
|
|
By:
Na mate, just having a go at P/L everyone stops P/L when results go bad..... that`s the difference....... backing before the off in golf is rare these days. And every week...... been there done that.... No thanks......

Still 2 rounds to go at Sanderson Farms.
Wilcox with the dreaded WD after RD 1. Going to chance a few quid on Peter Malnati @ 66/1 Doesn't hit it far but makes a lot of putts. |

Congrats Applehunter, nice one.

Thanks.
Comes across as a likable fella. Will be simply outmatched on a lot of courses out there this season but he will do well on the shorter technical tracks. |
