A lay of the favs in first 2 races today is my play . Waitaki was a real eyecatcher the last day at Naas, hardly put to the sword shall we say, ran on really well there and looked a future winner . A few others take the eye though, and her draw is a bit of a worry. Twin falls looked as if she was sure to have won one by now on some of her form . Gabardine is a well bred filly and from a stable in good form , Silvercups ran a nice race lto but is only the second string here and Jims have a right good record here . Add to the mix APOB record of sending out some nice winners of this race . Easter last year, she went on to prove herself to be a good filly this year , so at a price of 2.2 this is a lay for me. Awtaad is another worth taking on , a very nice introduction recently with Araqeel behind , she has a nice draw and with very few others having any experience you are reyling on the unexposed horses ,again trainers records come into the rekoning with several of these having won the race in the recent past . Kevin last won it in 2010, having had a run, and as most of Aidens come on for the run Reckless Gold will be a big player.
That ride on Waitaki was very borderline last time,as you say very eyecatching,3rd 4th and 5th ran creditably next time. Not sure if a high draw is that much of a disadvantage, anyone that stayed on the rail yesterday was swamped. Twin Sails out now has you probably relying on A O'Bs. Price at 1.97 won't have me rushing to back her,i won't lay either,GL.

Welds yoke must be pretty decent that finished second to MM last week.
It wasn't off a yard, and Roche nearly couldn't stop it. The winner was racing along way out, and probably a combo of dossing and paying for that effort late on, but Embiran is certainly one for the notebook. Best maiden in the country to my eye.
