It's Gaa football, the sport needs a hero, A Paul O'Connell a Messi a Ronaldo a Seamie Coleman a Michael Jordan a Henry Shevlin a Ruby Walsh, good luck i hope the players throw of the shackles a start kicking the ball and entertain us. I believe there has been a memo sent from HQ reminding the players it is a sport and sport is classed as entertainment. It is a desperate thing to do but HQ are desperate, good luck let's hope we finally get a good one Love.

Hard to believe Seamie Coleman was given away to Everton for €60,000.

By heck Gant you're up early ,was in HX last night , some cracking racing ,loads of English over .

We start early here. Some good pups on show last night, the cross is a good place for a young dog to learn his trade. The English boys are getting great value for sterling and fair play to them they are spending it bigtime. Some lovely young dogs gone over to an English trainer last night on the transporter.
What you fancy in the Derby tonight.

Blitz would have to be the pick , I seem to recall someone saying he wouldn't stay , a little like the Texacloth winner Laugh.I was talking to a man last night , he'd come over from Newcastle though he's Scots . He had bought into Ballymac Matt and was very hopefull . Looking forward to it hope there is no trouble at the bends and no hardluck stories..
Report GANT007 September 19, 2015 11:35 AM BST
I have to agree with Blitz, more than likely he will lead but they will be coming hard at him. Brendan Matthews is usually not far off when the prizes are being handed out. The Macari's and a few of their friends bought into Matt, I hope he goes well for them.
I hope it's a clean run race and all come back safe and sound.

I think we can put the Texacloth to bed, the winner aint too bad.LaughLaugh

I will PM you the name of an unraced pup in a few weeks, he went to the UK last night, he cost a lot of money and the lads want to change his name.

Although Coleman had ability and enthusiasm when he joined Everton, even Coleman admitted that he was behind even 13 year old Everton trainees in terms of positioning and defending, but Everton thought he was worth the risk

Those Japanese amateurs fairly threw down the gauntlet towards the gaa Footballers yesterday. I think they have showed what most Irish people believed to be true that you can combine skill and fitness together.

I agree Rocketfingers. A bit of hard graft and you can achieve anything.

Your lads kept the big final quiet yesterday, never be ashamed of your league. The big sports are kicking on, knocking them aint good for the mind.

That Japanese team is a fulltime professional outfit.

What a magnificent start to the tournament.

Was in a Boozer where no one had any interest in rugby, by the end of that Japan victory they were going nuts.  Biggest ever shock in sport ever for me and possibly my favourite rugby moment ever.  Also wonderful to see the emotion from Georgia after their win.

Full stadia, carnival atmosphere, Ireland off to a decent start, should be a great month.

Sorry, wrong thread, meant this for the rugby WC thread.

Would be great to think that some day the Japanese and the Pacific Islands teams could be added to the premier Southern Hemisphere competition. Reckon the likes of Fiji could be very marketable.

After the that japanese display 6.8 is a monster price for japs to beat the Scotland .
