everyone knows after the race it seems. i backed emotionless and am  not afraid to say so.i just was taken visually with its first two wins.todays run too bad to be true/? was it last?  there must be a few very rich people on this thread from laying emotionless or backing air force!!  there didnt seem to be too many brave words before the race tho!?!?

Emotionless was weak but I put that down to the strength of afb.

He was last in the end yes Kavvie.

I cant explain what happened, he won 2 races easily but I suppose today he was facing a twice group 1 winner and was vying for favoritism, is that right? Obv in hindsight its easier but there were a lot of posts wondering how he was that price, and others thought he'd win half the track.

I guess we are easily  fooled by these types and assume theyll just  win based on previous runs. I didnt bet  because I couldnt pick a winner with any confidence but I think if its too good to be true then it probably is.

If I ever see a scenario like this again, a more experienced 2 yr old with multiple g 1's against a twice raced impressive listed g2 I know what i'll be doing, still wont stop the less experienced horse winning but from what ive seen they are ALWAYS flattered bar Frankel and a few others.

Godolphin dont inspire me either as an outfit and I wouldnt be confident regarding Appleby either.

Still no harm done, it lost, wont be the last time a few of us back a loser eh.

.last time it just looked machine like.visually impressive prob against inferior opposition..

Couldnt agree more.

It looked unbeatable based on visual impression because few horses win like that but I guess we're easily fooled sometimes, myself inc.

Id just  be wary of horses yet to come off the bridle against battle hardened horses with more runs, regardless of level but afb just happened to be a twice g1 winner.

Although after the race is obviousGrin

Unless you're shagging the Sheikh WR, I doubt you have a better line into the Blue Operation than Snap.

8 out of 9 in the last 4 weeks speaks for itself. I myself wondered why Snap would put 'info' up here, and quizzed him on it. Turns out there are just some decent folk still out there. My advice to all, would be to take it and be grateful.(Talking about Snaps info.....not what you are/are not doing with Sheikh Mo!!)

Speaking of Wonks cuddling up with Sheikh Mo, it brings to mind the story of the KKK head honcho who was caught in the back seat of his car with a black male prostitute.

Ozy has it right about the iq's, or rather lack of. I mean, wonky for example, well his iq is on a par with Mr. O'Hehir's "tips".... In the MINUS mode Laugh

Interesting quote from Appleby after the horses racecourse gallop at Newmarket...........‘The dip here (ground undulation in the closing stages of the Rowley Mile) is something that horses sometimes don’t handle very well so I just wanted him to experience it and William was very happy with the way that he travelled throughout the piece of work.

‘He has done his usual, similar to what we saw at Doncaster, where he just gets to the front and has done it so effortlessly that he tends to just lug away – it was to the left this morning.

‘But that’s just him. Until he’s got something to challenge him he won’t straighten up. Will was happy with him, I was happy with him, it was a nice sensible piece of work and we are all on target for the Dewhurst Stakes.

Staggering ineptitude imo.
