Huds,
Not at all concerned, just wondering why you didn't post naps in the comp when you had access to the forum.

Coming to the end of a great week , a couple of nice winners , a  few losers but over all a good run . How the call Ripon the garden racecourse is simply explaned , its got wonderful flowers etc , but you cant see the racing , hard to believe i know , from the stands all you can see is the last 2 furlongs of a sprint race I kid you not , you are actually better off in the cheap ring where you can at least see the whole sprint track .

Sorry about that ,laptop acting up . I was in Catterick yesterday a really sharp little track with very low grade runners yet the place was packed , every track I've been to this week has been packed to the rafters , a few of our track managers would learn valuable lessons in how to attract racegoers . Its a day out for family , they park up 2 hrs before the first have a picnic , sit around till about a hour before racing ,then go have something to drink ,everyone benefits it seems .I was amazed how many go to the paddock to check the horses , they seem to have more fun than we do and really enjoy their day out .Amazing how many young people go racing in England ,we need to buck our ideas up and get more young people to the track .

Wonks has no financial worries thankfully, they run a very lucrative family business at home .
One of the kids is a real grafter by all accounts.

Mayfield ,I hear your little mare makes it easy for the lads to gain entry . Soon you'll be able to give up the job with the brother if you can get someone to take her off your hands ,although I hear shes a little rough n' ready , still if you get enough Stallions to jump her you'll make a mint..Laugh
