Believe ye have been put on this through no choice of your own, does anyone think it is not too bad? Don't like it at all myself,my main gripe is i do a fair bit of golf I/R,while the old site had a "fixed" refresh button at the top of the page(even when way down the list of the field) you have to scroll up now to the top and press a refresh icon and then scroll down again,it is now looking unworkable to me and for whats it's worth i certainly won't be spending my time scrolling up and down.
it's a joke , i cannot even get on the forum , it has no side scroll bars , i'm on the old one from yesterday as didn't close down laptop. I primarily use this site for hedging these days , i'm migrating to tother one.

It flickers,it doesn't update quick enough and is now hardship so its all but lost me.
I complained about this before and it was explained to e they are putting to much on,trying to promote Sportsbook and arcade.
Betfair android ( sic ) was mentioned as a way out, beyond me but some might get it.

"it doesn't update quick enough", that's the big feck up with it as i said,if left to its own devices you are waiting for an eternity, not good enough for the manual player whatever about those who use programmes/bots(advantageous?), a disaster with golf.

I don't like the new site either but I'm sure the people at the top in Betfair (Exchange AND Sportsbook) have calculated that the change, while it may tee a few of us off, should be a positive for the company's shareholders into the future.
It's like Ryanair; lots of people who fly with them have justified issues with their customer service but, despite this, they continue to increase their profits year on year.

As you say kavvie "if", but I'm sure they've done the calculations and now they are working through the process. Of course, if there are enough of us who migrate elsewhere they may have to do a rethink.
toby, I hadn't really bothered with Google chrome before but now I have to get used to it as my alternative browser for using Betfair.

Ryanair are a great company to fly with if you are a bit deaf with hearing the on board sales patter. It was at least £200 for a flight 30 years ago,you could have a cig and a free bite but same ending of getting from a to b is £50/60 nowadays.M O L/Ryanair has copped on anyway and given his position it is the right move. People will probably stick with this though i,d say 95% aren't gone on the new format, it will have some damage done to betfair all the same, people cannot bet how they are used to and your experience on the site is the opposite of the pleasant it is supposed to be.

Not sure about the "copped on" bit,Pa, but I agree with what you say about Ryanair.
I've got an issue with them currently regarding a refund for a flight that was cancelled and required an overnight stay in a hotel. Under the appropriate flight regulation, I'm entitled to a refund of my money from Ryanair for the hotel accommodation (€78). They are claiming that I didn't fly back with them on the alternative flight that they had organised on the day following the cancellation, thereby negating my claim for recompense of hotel expenses. I was on the flight and I have witnesses who were on the same flight and who were subsequently recompensed for their accommodation at the same hotel.
I have made all of this very clear to Ryanair, through numerous written communications, but they are insisting that, according to their records,I wasn't on the flight. I am now taking the case to the Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) in France.
Will I get my refund ? Will I ever fly with Ryanair again? Odds on, 1/5 affirmative, to both.

they get you involved in a sea of red tape, rules, emails, numbers that wont answer etc.thats the way they operate.the time of the ash cloud i was caught in europe was assured of money back etc..after 6 months i gave up.. my motto is book the flight.have all things in order.fly buy nothing and fly back.and they are fine,,

They claimed that they didn't receive the first letter that I sent them with hotel receipt included (I kept copies). Having spoken with An Post and done some research, I calculated that the odds on a letter not arriving at its destination, within Ireland, to be in excess of 50/1.
After yet another letter that I sent to them in Jan, they said that they would investigate the matter and get back to me...........5 months later after I hadn't heard anything from them, I recommenced my letter writing. As the late, great Bill Shankly once said to a reporter in the early 70's when asked how it was that his Liverpool team scored so many late goals, "We believe there's never a cause that's lost".
I will fly with them again but I'm not buying any more of their scratch cards.

@ Wildman, courtesy of a fella called Statsman on the HR forum, if you press "settings" on the right of the page,a mini page comes up,press "betting" and on the right there is a "slider" called "in play refresh rate" where you can take it down to a second. It may not be quite the mechanism for "not in play" markets but made a big difference to me with the golf page this morning(in play).

Looks like the powers that be have already decided we have to go new site . Looked at it for a few minutes way back , did not like it , have been using old "soccer" site since . Often wonder is it people justifying their jobs when I see "improvements" being advertised .
No doubt we will all adapt sooner or later , but if there was a viable alternative there would be substantial drift to elsewhere .
