Poor enough crowd there tonight, the first fav getting beat was no earthmover on course but was a big plus for the offices according to a bookie I spoke to.D.A. Brother ran a very good race and will have learnt plenty.

guy in studio quoted AOB statistics that suggested all is going fine, but the price that went off tonight suggested that 2yo was somewhere on their pecking order. Haven't seen as much racing lately but are his running badly? |

Thats the AOB horse I'm talking about, Bolgers was the perfect gentleman,maybe Gary is right but to my way of looking at it the Bolger horse was the one I'd have taken home.

Will be interesting to see what happens, wonder how much Jim got for him!!
Wouldn't doubt the talent of the Fastnets and War Fronts as such, but I would say that as a Group they are more fragile than the Montjeu & Danehill Dancers that would seem to run through the line in maidens. You'd imagine that Aidan is still learning about them as well, certainly in the case of the former, they are not precocious by any means, quick but not precocious. |

Theres a flaw in them imo, maybe they don't like it on this side of the world .I would be worried if I'd sent a mare to him tbh. They've given him every chance , the best of mares etc.

Will judge the back end of this season and next I guess, both need a really good Euopean based colt that trains on, although War front is already huge in America.

Agree with the War Fronts been huge in USA ,the point in question for Coolmore is do they transfare it to Europe and the answer seems to be NO.

A sensational weekend for Canford Cliffs continued on Sunday when rugby legend Ronan O’Gara’s colours were carried to victory by Most Beautiful (2f Canford Cliffs-Saphira’s Fire, by Cape Cross) in the G3 Grangecon Stud Stakes at The Curragh.
An impressive Navan maiden winner on her previous run, the David Wachman-trained filly took the step up to Group company in her stride. “She’s always worked like a good filly. She’s big and is still a bit weak, you could see that in the last furlong. She has a nice future,” said Wachman. “Ronan couldn’t be here today as he’s on a family holiday in the south of France but I’d say he won’t miss the next day wherever that is. “She’s well-entered up and will go further. The one thing is she likes goodish ground.” The Horizon Bloodstock-bred Most Beautiful, a 120,000gns yearling, was winning a day after Painted Cliffs (2c Canford Cliffs-Lulawin, by Kyllachy) won the G2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh. |

Turning out really well now Chelts isn't he, the big drawback with him was the pedigree, wasn't it, but he was a great looker and racehorse, very precociosu, basically everything you could want except for the Tagula part. I guess Coolmore decided that the overall package was worth it and they're now being proved right. I didn't really see it to be honest. Maybe Coolmore buying him gave him the credibility to get better mares.
