1 bet,A big fat lay of Rockaway Valley.

Very impressed with Harrington in the first, the trainer nearly more than the horse. He did as they expected at home and not sure that is something I would always have said about that yard. Had the Gr 1 entries and all.

She is from the right kind of background that she could get the Qatar or Sheikh Mohammad patronage if this is going to be a Group 1 flag bearer. Irish racing could always do with more competition.

Jack Hobbs all the way
Report Tolmi June 27, 2015 5:01 PM BST
I'm not a fan of Jack Hobbs.I thought his stride shortened dramatically in the last half furlong at Epsom and I think he's a lay..
Report CheltenhamRoar June 27, 2015 6:02 PM BST
Just as i thought,Harrington's useless when upped in class.
Report kavvie June 27, 2015 6:18 PM BST
a lad on the other thread blaming the jockey!!?
Report Tolmi June 27, 2015 6:50 PM BST
Got that wrong!!Very impressive in beating what was probably a poor field.

A huge crowd imo, I was stuck on the Naas dual for ages before getting up the ramp in fact I was late for the first having left the house early, they were 2 out when I got onto the course ,never in all my years racing have I seen such traffic jams at a Irish meeting.Bars ,rest, full to the brim and everyone seemed to be backing winners, of course that couldn't be right could it ?.Finally met Barry Orr and told he about the upcoming Galway comp, he said it was no problem and they would put up prizes of e100 50e 25e if Monte could get in contact, his email address is, BarryOrr@ Betfair.com after the results are known he will credit the winners accounts with the cash..

No need to change the title of this thread for todays racing .  A treble is the order of the day and back them individually as well so here goes.
First up is the savage, Parish  Hall , hopefully he can hit the headlines for the right reasons today, this fellow is one i find hard to catch, over the years he has cost me.Taking a chance that he'll be on his best behaviour and do the business.  Air Polits run at Chester last time was ok and he's sure to have benefited from the run, but coming as it does on the back of that Chester run he might just get stage fright when faced with the wide open spaces of the Curragh.  I feel that Chester form rarely stands up . Roheryn is another that I can't get right, I think this will be short enough for her .....
Great Page is my second choice, I was very taken with her performence at Naas were she always looked the winner, with her stablemate highlighting the form at Ascot I think she is a massive price and should win on the snaff..
Pleascach, was also impressive when winning at Naas before going on to win the Gns,having won over 10 furs it seemed the logical move to up her to 12 furs in the believe she would stay the trip. I think she didn't stay and that todys trip is ideal for her.  Jim seldom gets it wrong so I am willing to take a chance this filly will be back to her best...
Good luck everyone.

Well done workrider, you are holding the forum together.

One each way bet for me today and that is Mutatis Mutandis who is insultingly priced up at 40/1. She is an improving filly who won a listed race last time out. The second in that race won a listed race in France yesterday. I know it is a big step up in class but she is no 40/1 shot.
Report Temlett June 28, 2015 12:57 PM BST
Air Pilot has won on the Rowley Mile so I hardly think he will get the fright of his life running at the Curragh.

If he is still improving it will be a setback for Beckett if he cannot take care of Parish Hall in receipt of 3lb.

Early 4/5 gone now though.
Report Rocketfingers June 28, 2015 1:25 PM BST
Air pilot will win today, don't like the price and missed the early door 4/5
Report kavvie June 28, 2015 2:52 PM BST
who the fcuk laid air pilot at 990 ir?!!?
Report Racingqueen June 28, 2015 2:54 PM BST
Thought Manning gave that a shocker
Report kavvie June 28, 2015 2:57 PM BST
came to win his race ..where did u think it was shocking?
Report pa lapsy June 28, 2015 2:58 PM BST
^ No bet but thought he did as well, mightn't have won but let Moore "boss" him.
Report tony57 June 28, 2015 2:59 PM BST
uttoxeter 5.15 BLETCHLEY CASTLE,@9/2 2nd lto over 2m here reads well in this race as he should benefit from the extra 3 furlongs fto in a handicap this is only his 6th race I think they will try to make all ive had a decent e/w bet to nothing
Report tony57 June 28, 2015 3:02 PM BST
bit of rain came today so no excuses for forgotten rules?
Report CheltenhamRoar June 28, 2015 3:02 PM BST
Amazing how anyone can blame Manning on that defeat there.
Report Racingqueen June 28, 2015 3:06 PM BST
I wouldn't agree with the lay but he travelled stronger into the race so can understand a POV laying the winner in running (Obviously 990 is joke price so probably an error). Manning gave winner easy lead, not the biggest sin but the issue was allowing him too much rope before asking PH for his effort. Just an opinion...
Report kavvie June 28, 2015 3:08 PM BST
well there was lays of 700 600 500 and 400!!

Would you not be concerned by running him just 10 days after a tough race in the Ascot GC?
You would imagine the cautious/generally excellent Weld wouldn't risk  him if he didn't think he was right though.

Although Weld won the handicap yesterday,Tested and Sparkle factor's runs yesterday were deplorable. They ran like they weren't right rather being kept for Galway imo.

Forgotten rules is the obvious class horse but 18lbs is a lot of weight to be giving to two unexposed Ballydoyle 3 year olds.
I wouldn't be rushing to back FR at 1.74 and have had a significant interest in Bondi Beach in first time tongue strap at decent prices to recoup the Leopardstown losses under the dynamic Emmet McNamara.

Anyone able to translate gibberish?

Go back to bed you soft lad and have a think about it.

The last bet I saw you having on here was giving KR a free chance of winning,14 points behind and needed a 14/1 winner to win comp but you thought he would take even money.

A poor day results wise, thought G/Page was given a shocker by Leavy, not saying she would have won but by dropping her back so far she never had a chance.Parish Hall ran a decent sort of race and I thought for one moment he was going to win.  Bolgers filly was a major disapointtment ,she looked majestic in the paddock and i know they were very confident. She pulled like a train for the first 6 furs and had nothing left at the business end.Backed B/B @ 3/1 w/o FR so got a little back..Crowd way down on Sat but all the better for that imo at least it was possible to move around .
