Trying to start a race 5 mins early now, thats a first for any racecourse.

The race was due off at 7 o clock, and there were 3 of them loaded at 6.54, one of which was never even taken out, On A Pedestal.
That hardly smacks of proffessionalism now wonks does it ?, although that pales into insignificance in relation to the day Dawn Approach ran in the Jacques Le Marois, a Group 1 of huge interest to any Irish racegoer, it was 2/1 favourite and Declaration Of War ran in the race as well. On that particular day the Curragh let a race go at exactly the same time the French race started.
