Commentators seemed to suggest they were playing a lot better than they looked, but they seemed to be bouncing all over shop on even 6 ft putts to my eye.
I say Rory could chuck it in if gets off to another poor putting start tonight. I be happy enough if Shane is the only Irishman to make the weekend!!

DJ prob too thick to remember what the 5th green was like, when he tees off on the 6th. Could be a help!!
Would much prefer see Stenson win that DJ though. No financial involvement in either, but Stenson a funny fuc ker, and I certainly wouldn't begrudge him his big one.

Think Andres Romero 300/1 four places is a bit overpriced. Second at Carnoustie in 2007 which is a very tough track.

Biffo has had a 69 and 2 70s. If he can shoot another one of those he's got a chance. I notice lots are over par so far.
I don't know myself tbh Chelt. He probably doesn't know himself either.

I remember that! Only a couple year ago. Twats on the doors got some bollicking that night I say!!
Layed Luiten in his 2ball , I think Reed has more aggressing in him , Luiten might bottle it and worth a lay @2.76.
Suppose the danger WR is that Luiten will be playing for a top ten, Reed will still be gunning the win. He may get the reward for being gung ho, but its not really the course for it.

For all the complaints about the golf course the cream is at the top and it's going to produce a good finish. Think the complaining has been way over the top.

Spieth looks very nervy. Was utterly dominant at Augusta. Pressure is a lot different when its in the melting pot. Grace is ice cool at minute. Intriguing.

I have Spieth backed, but I wouldn't wish that on Grace. He has been superb. Be a horrible way to ruin such hard work.

Went 1.06 after holing 16, riveting indeed and for all the criticism of the greens one of the best major finishes in a long time. How can Dustin still be in with a shout ?

Rory will win the British Open. Spieth winning tonight makes it all the more certain in my eyes. Rory will be hell bent on stopping the rot. And in truth, he probablt played the best golf this week. St Andrews, 5-1, 6 places.....its time to start saving!!
I'd prefer to see Spieth win it rather than Johnson losing it.
As it is, it makes the last 2 majors all the more exciting.

@ Callit(and other Rory open backers), Rory damaged his ankle after a football kickabout on Sat. seen a photo of him with it well strapped up and on crutches so certainly wouldn't be playing much,mightn,t matter too much but i'd be cautious until i'd know more about the extent.

I had a barrage of messages on the phone this morning about that. Shame. Will detract massively from the event if he does miss it. Call me a sceptic, but I wouldn't be surprised if the injury was nothing much at all, and he just would rather miss the Scottish. With a valid excuse. I am more than likely wildly wrong...but I do think he will play at St. Andrews.
One other thing, are all bets struck not NRNB?? Or are the rules different before the final line is declared?

I would have thought he would be nrnb myself,know with horses it is different but i can see your concern regarding what you call the final line. Wouldn't only qualifiers be in the market anyway and always a nrnb with them to my knowledge.
