How annoying was he after the Derby win the other day, exacerbated by C4's sycophantic coverage?

Waxing lyrical about the ride,Golden horn had at least 7lbs in hand of his opposition and was a steering job.

He was like a child with ADHD rudely interrupting the owner "We have just won the Derby" just because the spotlight wasn't on him for 30 seconds.

As for C4 conveying his recent personal battles and overcoming adversity, he was banned due to failing a drugs test (his second incident in his career) for six months and had not been battling a serious illness or overcoming a family tragedy. Political correctness doesn't allow factual incidents to be reported anymore.

This Frankie winning the Derby is great for the sport is a load of rubbish, an idiot jumping around the place shouting look at me isn't going to appeal to many surely.
Richard Hughes is correct racing is a niche sport and always will be.

Advocating Frankie as some kind of poster boy for the sport is extremely disingenuous, right since the start of his career since he dropped Cumani to go riding in HK without telling him,he's been a pillock all the way through behind the scenes.

Give me the moody Ryan Moore any day, he doesn't suffer fools and he won't be very informative (he gives RTE a bit more time) but maintains a bit of dignity and class.

Pat Smullen would be a better all round example,a touch of class there.

agree, it was nauseating. the brits love his cheeky chappie persona..the owner was about to be interviewed only for Dettori to butt in and manhandle him.

Fallon takes coke ; villain
Frankie takes coke ; hero
Say what you like about Fallon at least he wasn't false and rode that track at Epsom brilliantly. Sad that he's hardly able to get a ride now.

i agree frankie was over the top in the parade ring after the race, you could tell from the reaction of the money men they were taken aback by it..but im long of the opinion jockeys taking recreational drugs (not on the day of the race)is nobodys business bar there own..the hypocrisy of the racing..knows no bounds..fallon was indeed made more of a scapegoat than frankie, but Frankie has a lot more friends in racing than fallon..fallon's brilliance in the saddle got him more jobs although he was disliked..but Frankie is genuinely liked by the racing bosses..fallon has not got rides because trainers are of the opinion he has lost it..he is 50!i don't share that opinion..but he is at a age were he has to think its time to pack in..its a younger man's game..
