Fair enough there wasn't a thread on this,it looked a hard meeting and left it alone myself.
Thought Sir Isaac Newton did it very well in the first if a little tendency to potentially be a bit wayward, impressive still and travelled and quickened. Valac had the run of the race and a tame finish from him, looks very exposed.
Roca Roja won well again and she seems a nice filly for Adrian Mc Guinness, reported to have been working well with 100 rated Bubbly Bellini, her next step will surely be a listed effort.
Kodiac,s Back had a bit of a luckless run,it mightn't have mattered but looks capable sooner or later in this class.

Isaac done it well in the end alright. Shifted sharply enough with a crack of the whip. Say there is talent there alright, but as you probably a temperament to go with it.

I had backed him earlier at 1.52, on the basis that he would prob win on his Chester run. And that the weight of money for him that day, suggested the Ballydoyle high rollers expected much better. I thought he would go off about 2-7. Was shocked to see 4-6 come post time. Too shocked to top up!!

Sure he went nearly 1.8 here at one stage, maybe he was playing up or warm but never really a moments worry.
Chenega Bay will probably be odds on tomorrow, the 6/4 is big(PP Evs Sad) his last run is well worth a look.

You weren't wrong about Lyon's horse Pa. Took the 6/4 for medium bet. It's no superstar but has progressed with each run and this looks a gimme opportunity. In an earlier race, Penny Pepper is a lovely type and should be up to collecting.

Over in Sandown there is a very good renewal of the Brigadier Gerard Stakes. The Timeform nerds have been fantasising about Tryster after his AW exploits. However, I think he'll have his hole opened to beat any of the other top three in the market and is certainly lay material. The Pipes had an odds on poke turned over in novice chase yesterday. I will be very surprised if Rathlin Rose doesn't collect in Weatherby. A Bonbon Rose v a Rail Link over fences. No contest.

Bolgers horse that was 2nd to Sir Isaac Newton gave his last run a bit of a boost last night TTK,hope he does the business anyway,i,d probably be averaging 5/4 myself.
Report callitasucit May 28, 2015 11:22 AM BST
Cracking Brig Gerrard tonight alright. Hugely interesting.

Tryster could be the best English AW horse ever granted a fast pace.

Eagle Top has top class 4 year old written all over him.

Western Hymn is a personal favourite, though he certainly keeps some for himself, and wont relish the quickening ground.

Arab Spring a typical Stoute improver.

One to watch IMO.

Take out The Grey Gatsby and it is arguably a good as the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup the Curragh just hosted.
Report callitasucit May 28, 2015 11:29 AM BST
Better I would say. Far more potential.
Report neill d May 28, 2015 11:52 AM BST
Agree if you're looking at it that way, Fascinating Rock is a grand horse but he was close enough. Question is what are the executive at the Curragh doing as this is often a good race. Stoute has started the likes of Notnowcato & Workforce in it, should be a Gr 2 by now I think.
Report callitasucit May 28, 2015 11:57 AM BST
6500 people there last Sunday for such a good card.

As has been said before, the executive are doing fu ck all right down there. Disgrace.
Report neill d May 28, 2015 12:25 PM BST
Bang right Callit, there will come a day, maybe if the Sinners ever get in, when the whole house of cards could go re subsidisation.
Report pa lapsy May 28, 2015 7:13 PM BST
Sorry about that TTK,winner was way above average, don't think Chenega done much wrong.
Report TellTheKing May 28, 2015 7:31 PM BST
No apologies necessary Pa, I backed him on my own steam. Didn’t too anything wrong but a fairly limited horse. Will hardly be investing again on him even though possibly caught a tartar this evening.

Simenon ran a cracker in Sandown on his return. Ran like a horse just in need of a run.

Not to worry, you're as constant as the Northern star PaBlush

The backslapping brigade have well and truly taken over (just them and the tumbleweed left),very selective (poor) memory of the last few months.

Tryster......... 4.1 looks too big now....... could easily have too much speed for these at this venue.
Report pa lapsy May 28, 2015 7:42 PM BST
You forgot to add the judging **** only left as well dj.
Report easygold May 28, 2015 7:44 PM BST
4.9 mmmmmmmm I will go in again.
Report easygold May 28, 2015 7:45 PM BST
And have a lay-up @1.5 just in case
Report Snookerpunter May 28, 2015 7:46 PM BST
Bcaked Tryster and Eagle.

Was tempted to lay Arab earlier at 3, on the basis that I think he may only be 4th best....by seasons end anyway. But may have ideal conditions/race fitness tonight.

Tryster will prob need something to go a lick to be seen to best effect.
Report dj876 May 28, 2015 7:48 PM BST
Back into the rocking chair Pricewise Pa (still can't believe you came up with that) ,you bitter old bore.
Report easygold May 28, 2015 7:48 PM BST
Woeful....... ah well.
Report TellTheKing May 28, 2015 7:52 PM BST
Good victory by Western Hymn though he was the most suited by the conditions. Career Best run from Arab Spring who needs further and Eagle Top ran nicely.
Report easygold May 28, 2015 7:56 PM BST
Yeah he was Tell.... Arab needed a pacesetter for him over 10f. The 12f contests this year will be exciting viewing.
Report neill d May 29, 2015 10:13 AM BST
Arab looks made for the Melbourne Cup to me and I wouldn't do much more with him to ensure a nice weight. He's a gelding as well so he should get a few cracks at it as well as the other races on that circuit, when you look at what a horse as relatively limited as Red Cadeaux has done on that scene, why would you bother yer bollocks coming fifth in a King George. He'll actually be short of 12f options in Europe at the top level, he can't run in the Arc, there is a French race in Saint Cloud, but Treve will be there and it will be run at a stupid pace doubtlessly.
Report neill d May 29, 2015 10:14 AM BST
Hardewick nect for him obviously, talking beyond that!
