UKIP the only party that takes prompt action.

Not one complained, not one mentioned it in their speeches.

Pollsters eh? I'm no genius and a lot of the nuances of the political world go over my head but I think a lot of the store put in these pre-election polls underestimates the fact that most people in the UK don't understand politics and what they are hearing and seeing in the run-up, they are liable to vote any which way within a certain tolerance.

The Tories knew they just needed to sew a seed of doubt re Farage, and that most of the constituency of Thanat whatever would either just accept him as the 'bad guy' or wouldn't know where to look to get the other side of the story. It worked beautifully.

Should have said 'his' side of the story, point I was trying to make is that often all it takes to 'swing' an idiot is to get to him first!

More broadly, there are a lot of people in the UK who definitely won't vote Labour and another crowd who won't vote Tory. That is the only thing they definitely won't do, so to have a load of people for weeks telling us that even a slim Tory majority couldn't happen was a bit of a farce............ and yeah this is all in hindsight and no I didn't make any money on it! but I think a lot of these pundits are to electoral outcomes what Mick Fitz is to racing results.

After all there re so many rational reasons to hate them;

* A Ukip candidate is suspended over suggestions that compulsory abortion should be considered for foetuses with Down's syndrome or spina bifida.

* It emerges that a Ukip candidate allegedly described gay sex as "disgusting" and said homosexuals were not "normal" on a Ukip online forum. The Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, insists he would not expel members for voicing "old-fashioned" views about homosexuality.

* The chairman of Ukip's youth wing is sacked after speaking out in favour of gay marriage. Olly Neville says he felt "let down" at his removal, which he claims contradicted Ukip's libertarian philosophy.

* the party's then East Midlands chairman and Lincoln councillor Chris Pain described illegal immigrants as "sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-f******, ragheads" on his Facebook page,

and that's before we get to last weeks MP candidate vowing to put a bullet in another Asian candidate.

There were teams of volunteers scouring the records of all UKIP members, they were going back 20 years.

One of the most infamous ones was some mild criticism of a homosexual lifestyle, this was pounced on it transpired the comments were made in 1993 when he was a Conservative councillor,

There was never a mention about the Lib/dem councillor jailed for aggravated sexual assault, not a word about all the Labour councillors in Newham done for electoral fraud, all those councillors in Rotherham and Rochdale now facing prosecution.

No party could withstand the type of scrutiny UKIP were subjected to.

Report wildmanfromborneo May 8, 2015 4:06 PM BST

You are blinded by intolerance, you don't acknowledge the fact that far more Labour councillors got in trouble than UKIPs.
Neither do you acknowledge the criminal behaviour of the Conservative candidate in Dudley.

A lot of old white straight English people in UKIP.
This is a group its fashionable to hate,in fact compulsory to hate here.

* Do not wish to see the Islamification of Britain, but the threat does not obsess my every waking moment, as it does you.

I adore the very essence of Great Britain, warm beer, the sound of leather on willow, the British sense of humour and fair play, the values they have endowed to the world etc etc.  Only this morning was I belting out 'Rule Brittania' as I cruised in my Jaguuuuaaaaar whilst the FTSE and the pound surged Cool
