Chris Kirk is falling through the cracks today as he hasn’t given us any reason to pay attention in 2015 - besides a T8 at Valero. That’s not an easy course to navigate and neither is Sawgrass. Last year Kirk figured it out on the weekend with 70-67 to finish T13 for his best finish in four tries.

Kevin Kisner tacked on a 5-under-par 31-36=67 in the third round of THE PLAYERS to post 9-under. It was a tale of two nines for the 31-year-old, circling five birdies in a bogey-free outward half. He then relied on some adept short-game skills to navigate his way to an even-par back nine, scrambling for pars on Nos. 13, 14 and 16. Kisner, part of the 2005 University of Georgia National Championship team, is in a prime position to redeem a playoff loss three weeks ago at the RBC Heritage but may also be falling through the cracks today after bogeys at 4&5.

Kevin spun a bogey-free 7-under-par 32-32=64 in the final round of the RBC Heritage and then lost on the second playoff hole to Jim Furyk.
The 31-year-old came oh-so-close to becoming the first South Carolinian to win the tournament in its 47-year history. Kisner came to the 18th hole needing birdie to force a playoff and he delivered, calmly sinking a 6'8" putt to go to extra time. He buried a mid-range birdie on the same green on the first hole of the playoff, but his try for birdie on the par-3 17th never threatened, thus opening the door for Furyk to take the title. His consolation was a career-best finish on the PGA TOUR.

Backed Sergio earlier at 9s. Doing some study for next wk. Had decided couple hour ago that Fowler was top of the hit list. Hoped he wouldn't finish too strong and catch the judges eye. He has royally fuc ked me over!!

Since moving to May in 2007 Sergio Garcia has finished second, WON, T12 and was T8 and third the last two years. To say TPC Sawgrass fits his game and eye is a major understatement. He found some joy at Augusta after a quiet run up to the Masters but it didn’t carry to San Fran in the Match Play. This will be Sergio's sixteenth start at Sawgrass so there won’t be many angles or shots he hasn’t seen. He has the experience to win this again. THIS IS NOT OVER !

Fowler reduces the last six to pitch and putt -17 shots ...2  4  3  3  2  3
what a sensational finish -deserves to win it for that.

Yeah, great finish. Though a lot easier do that when you think you cant win. 18 was hugely impressive though.

Looked in, good putt. Fowler must be sick. Has to put off celebrating with the missus for awhile longer. She looked eager to get things started earlier!!

There will be a few Post-mortems with the lads who finished just behind the top 3, Flower to win now for me.

Garcia really should have put it to bed earlier, not be relying on a Hail Mary on 17, and an Our Father to keep Kisners putt out on 18. Had it by the bollix, and let it go when he could have killed it.

Spieth, Rory, Tiger, Phil kill them.

Fancy Kisner big time at 3.7 in this playoff ......

I hadn't looked at the betting. Big ask for Kisner, but I certainly wouldn't have been been a layer at 3.7. He may just go and grab it, while other two are caught ball watching.

There betting to 107% WHICH IS DISSAPOINTING.

Not surprising Frank. Once playoff teed off, it impossible for most to have a fair bet. Sky pics be at least 2, prob 3 mins, behind live.
