The league may be a far cry from the Championship but fair dues to this team. They have taken some big strides from last year considering where they were and the changes they made to their squad.

They destroyed Cork who had previous good performances in the league,that and the beating of Tipp would say it was no flash in the pan,could easily do well this year.
It was great to see Waterford win however I dont like their hurling and their system will be taken apart in the championship by one of the big boys possibly even in four weeks time.
all ireland betting cork 5/1 waterford 14/1 says a lot for waterfords chances?
Could be a great Waterford team in the making. No one team to be afraid of at the moment...they could still be in contention come September.
