This day (Friday) last year was a tough day for the books with a good few shorties going in (Jezki,Artic Fire,Vatour,Morning Run and On The Fringe) and this year with Faugheen,Nichol's Canyon and On The Fringe we could have a repeat but the odds would be too tight for the small man.
One I like is Alton Bay in the 18.40,has a break to over come but goes on good ground, any fancies lads?
In the 4.20 a few I like are .....Shanahans Turn ,thought early season this lad was going to go on to better things ,I'm still of the opinion that he turn into a very smart chaser next year and is well weighted .. Fine Rightly is a progressive horse and should give a good account of himself here ... Finally my third pick in the race is , Mr Fiftyone ....this fellow won the race UDS fell in at Thurles , the ground should be to his liking and Jessies are running really well now...... I will be taking on N.Canyon with Alpha Des Obeaux ..I love this fellow and if his fall last time out doesn't have an averse effect can see him putting it up to the fav ..... he was still in with every chance till falling at Aintree and the winner upheld the form yesterday ..In fact I think it should have won , Scudamore trying to go up Rubys inside cost it 2 lenghts and it was running on really strongly to be beaten a neck ...

Like Fine Rightly myself workrider but I'm a bit concerned about the faster ground if it dries out much more as I'm not sure how it will act on it but it travels well for Davy.

Dromnea 4.20 11/1 Mouse's horses coming back to form and this one was running well despite terrible stable form. Ran a good race @ Cheltenham despite carrying half a stone higher and shouldn't mind the drying ground either.
The Housekeeper 4.55 25/1 Talented mare who seems to show her best form on decent ground with the spring sun on her back. Has a favourable mark in comparison to hurdles mark and could well outrun her odds tomorrow if she puts her best foot forward.

Looking like you might get a bit bigger than 11s on Dromnea NA. Looks to have a right chance on the bare form of Chelt result.
I prefer the chances of Thomas Crapper and Irish Cavalier. 9s and 12s e.w at Ladbrokes, where 5 places are offered look good bets to me.
I backed TC at Chelt, and thought things just didn't quite go perfectly for him there. I thought him and the winner where both value for a bit more than the bare result. He has a right chance of gaining compensation here.
Irish Cavalier really caught the eye against superior opposition on Tuesday. He probably just ran out of petrol close home, and a hard race has to be a worry only 3 days later. But one has to trust connections that they wont go to the well again if the horse isn't bouncing, and he looks sure to go very very close.
The 1.9 on Nicholls Canyon looks big to me. Class apart IMO.

A lot of horses with question marks in that 6.40 tony. One who I think has been overlooked in the market is Blue Atlantic. He has decent enough form since going over hurdles. Likes to be ridden handily and there doesn't seem to be a lot of pace in the race. I think 33/1 was too big a price. Sheehan a good judge of pace from the front also.

A lot mentioned here in the 4.20,it is a competitive handicap,a question mark over the ground alright today, giving weight and making a balls of the last at Limerick are admittedly negatives still the manner Val de Ferbet beat Noble Emperor and Rule The World was visually impressive to me and he looks to have the frame for the weight. Just a few points ew ,tomorrow looks a better punting card to me,gl.

W. Mullins on his site said Val de Ferbet was a good jumper, knew that mistake at the last in Limerick was dodgy but didn't even seem to notice them today, rightly pulled up. Rare Ruby isn't on a blobby horse.

Was there any match betting Del'Arca v Tiger Roll in shops or online? Or betting without 2 top in the market does anybody know and if so what was price on Del Arca in both or either

Thanks Pa. I could only get on with PP at time and no markets where I could. Another reason for me to close account with them after my ante post football is settled.
