See GOB has put it up.

The way the race has cut up it looks an ew bet  Can't be having Maarek first time out, but the ground might have come for Great Minds.

whatever the jockey was doing I don't know but the winner did it well..very disappointing tbh.
Report tony57 April 27, 2015 7:15 PM BST
wellsaid oz hope you followed great minds
Report frank60 April 27, 2015 7:16 PM BST
Never looked likely Tony,BUT WE WILL RISE AGAIN.

4 previous runs for Anippe, all on good to firm.

Yielding to soft on seasonal debut.Lazy pick = no research and followed the false early money, drifted like a barge when there was liquidity.
Report tony57 April 27, 2015 7:20 PM BST
yes frank, never looked likely..giving good horses  starts over 5f is never a good idea..
Report Ozymandius April 27, 2015 7:20 PM BST
yes thank you, Tony, was on Great Minds.
Report tony57 April 27, 2015 7:22 PM BST
wow..i have to put up with you coming on when I put up a loser?..what money are you on about..?i never followed any money..but we look forward to your winners , easy to come on after the race..
Report dj876 April 27, 2015 7:33 PM BST
She went from 5.4 to 3.9 from 18.00 -18.45 and drifted back out to 6.2 at the off so there was certainly a false gamble.Mugs fell for it and she drifted like a barge when there was proper liquidity.

The below is part of a quote from Ger Lyons after the Curragh last year, all 4 previous runs on quick ground.

Yielding to soft had to be a concern  at the very least for a filly  encountering softer ground for the first time and on seasonal debut

"Being a Captain Rio you would automatically think she would like softer ground but Colin said why would you try softer ground when she has shown this much speed on quick ground."

She will stick to better ground after that pipe opener.

correction = out to 7.2

Typical dj876 aftertiming who put up a 1/10 loser.

Give us an opinion pre race please.
Report dj876 April 27, 2015 7:45 PM BST
More lies from the above Gob****,I never put up a 1/10 shot as he well knows.Name that selection or let's see the thread

I thought this was a place to discuss points of interest about racing and would be constructive going forward.

Another winner for Borneo's opening day of the season,Karl Burke's Lincoln horse won at Saturday,Great Minds has won twice since and the quirky Jacobean has been stuffed again at a a short price.

his point is relevant..ive never criticized anyones picks after the race..cos its easy..i won't waste my time even bothering ..but put one of your super thought out bets up for us all you never answered me last time..

Was there tonight , in the first race Pillmakers Hill sadly was either blind or had cateracts in one eye ..Stone Mountain another moderit looker from that stable as was Dancing On Air in the 6.40 ..One to take out of the race was China Eyes went down like a scalded cat , yet finished its race well ..How young Redmond stayed aboard Verbosity on the way to post in the same race was a miracle ..She was edgy in the paddock and it took awhile before they could mount her , then she went all over the shop going to post , the lad was brilliant just to stay on , shes a proper madame...
