I was very quick to write him off in Rd 1. Back to his best it seems.

Current form was to the fore again.

Punting wise it was a week that promised a lot on Thursday/Friday fizzled out.

Ten golfers have gained entry into next week's PLAYERS via the latest Official World Golf Ranking.

The top 10 in FedExCup points - all are already eligible. The Top 50 in the OWGR now include Bernd Wiesberger who chased his opening, bogey-free 36 holes at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with a pair of 69s to post 13-under 275 and finish in the three-way share of 33rd place. He's now 40th in the OWGR. The other nine qualifiers are: Victor Dubuisson (22nd in the OWGR); Jamie Donaldson (31st); Anirban Lahiri (35th); Branden Grace (39th); Stephen Gallacher (42nd); Joost Luiten (44th); Thongchai Jaidee (45th); Shane Lowry (48th); Danny Willett (49th).
