C'mon Pa so you're suggesting a circa 5.5% move for a horse is a rick? And 8/5 to evens after a rule 4 is likewise ?
I'll be impressed if jumpingtoconclusions significantly shortens. GL |
By:
Ruby said in yesterday's examiner that he thought Patanne would win, in a bumper at this time of year there is no need for me to dwell on that significance 2 yrs on or not. I'm no expert but 3/1 on that was shocking.
By:
You're flagging a horse that has already been backed ffs, i thought you were flagging up one that was wrong and you were telling us about it pre-money
. |
By:
Haven't really looked at the rest of em', I understand he was off 2 years but still.
By:
I'm not flagging anything RF except i strongly believe they are considerably "out" in their prices at times and worth taking note of.
By:
Generally only 365 and PP price up Irish racing the night before, what surprises me is if the OP finds it so easy to identify these ricks, how come PP will stay lay him to a liability of approx. €1000 on overnight prices. (as discussed on a previous thread via the max button)
Am I missing something or has PP's software defaulted on your a/c? |
By:
Sure of course, no one is going to be right everytime though, 5/1 to 7/2 does not mean the original price was a rick though.
By:
Ha he can still get €1000 on these glaring ricks, says it all dj.
By:
By:
Someone very rightly got you in a nutshell yesterday Rocketfingers that you are all that is wrong with the Irish forum, your low attention span is alive and kicking in regards your inability to follow basic betting,ie getting a k onn to a liability of a k.
I really don't know DJ,it is an account i've been careful in how i use. |
By:
Pa don't attack the poster attack the post mate, now you have rightly being flagged up for starting a thread where you have tried to once again show you are a shrewdy or the self proclaimed best odds compiler on the forum, your flagging moves after they occur, anyone can do that, fgs you even flagged a 5/1 - 7/2 horse as a rick, it's not a rick. I think your looking for attention tbh. As Dj says PP will still stand to lose you a grand on these over night prices and that imo says it all really about your ability to spot over night ricks.
By:
14 hours 11/4 was with PP and not a few minutes Dj,you can double check that again.
My sole intention with this thread Rocketfingers was pointing out that the books aren't getting it quite right all the time, nothing more and if you want to keep on attacking it do,no wonder people don't bother. |
By:
Where was the 7/2 Pa and nothing in your original post refers to the fact that he was 2/1 best price when you started the thread? As I said a bit disingenuous to me but maybe he was 7/2 somewhere ??
By:
God your so smart Pa, thanks for pointing this out that bookmakers don't get every horse spot on. As i said pa i would be massively impressed if you were coming on here and flagging up horses that were wrong before the move, then i and i am sure everybody else on the forum would certainly give you the adulation you are so greatly craving mate.
By:
So you admit he was 11/4 for 14 hours and not the few minutes you claimed?
He was 7/2 with Betfair Sportsbook, the horses that were put up all lost except one, whether Jumptoconclusions wins or not is academic but 7/2(probably for very little) or 11/4 is certainly better than the sp he will be and is the gist of that the books are a bit out. |
By:
I,ve no intention these days of trying to massively impress you Rocketfingers, you are beneath contempt.
By:
dj will you be lumping the 11 euro for 2 on the nicholls beast in the first at wincanton, thats your sorta price innit.....
By:
Of course you are not pa because you can't spot these ricks until after the move has happened
and that is why PP entertain you to that tune mate. Like it or not Pa that is the truth. |
By:
Ah Pa,that's scraping the barrel, how much can you or anyone get on with BF sportsbook?
Great thread, WD and very astute of you to identify all these ricks. Jumptoconclusions 7/2-3/1-2/1 would have been more suitable You'd wonder how PP made €170 million last year when they accommodate Pricewise Pa on overnight prices. |
By:
rocket, pa gets enough attention here for being a shrewd judge.
you get the other type of attention, for being an effing idiot. |
By:
Your right Pa, but hey keep this low-key, these guy`s read these thread`s and we don`t want them thinking their tissue prices are close to s.p. So just let this happen, and just get the value out there. As we all know value is the key. You can back horses at a price but back horses at the wrong price t/out the year you will be a loser.
By:
Thread was started with a view towards giving prices which i thought were a bit out in future racing,i get it wrong at times but would have had no qualms doing it as it would have been an interesting thread, the negativity towards it has shocked me a bit and no point in bothering with it.
By:
Or to be more accurate 11/4 -- 2/1 -- SP ???
By:
Pa was counting on the dummies to come on this thread and inflate his ego, can't handle it when he gets told it as it is.
By:
rather see pa put up the ricks before they are backed.
By:
Yes 7/2 was only available with B/F/Sports and yes most can`t get 1p on with them. But is that the only comment you can take from this thread. If so good.
By:
the only negativity is from the jealous inadequates.
By:
Now u have it Freddiek........ Dj the biggest one....
By:
I`m surprised his side-kick Fly Fish (J.R.Hartley) has not been on......
By:
in djs defence lads hes just in from the nightshift in topaz abbeyleix 24hr
By:
Pa.....these firms dont have odds compilers any more.....well not in the old fashioned sense at least.....
What happens now is that the prices are put up the night before as a feeler.....and they know they are littered with mistakes....sometimes intentional ones.....they know well that they arent laying these prices to much.....and they will always attract people who know more than them and are willing to give them a card mark for very little..... A gorilla could spot these mistakes but nobody will be allowed capitalise..... |
By:
Yes Bet365, but not P.P or Boyles?? I can assure u that.
By:
Spot on Send in the clowns, if someone put up 10 horses and they all lost but all shortened significantly i would be the first person on here defending him actually i would probably defend them if the horses simply shortened. Not sure why Pa actually feels the need to fish for compliments like this, would guess ego reasons, much better way is to look at the balance on your betting a/c's imo but each to their own !!
By:
Rocketfingers.......... I have had a few debates with Pa over the years......... but if u think he is looking for compliments ur far wrong mate.....
By:
I can assure you what easygold?....
By:
That P.P and Boyles, have odds compilers on Irish Racing
By:
They arent really odds compilers though.....just relations of trainers etc who wouldnt know their arrse from a hole in the ground.....they wouldnt last pisssing time betting on their own opinion....
Nowadays it doesnt matter whether they are any good or not....it wouldnt want to either.... |
By:
I don`t think P.H would like to hear you saying that about him. He works very hard on his Irish racing
By:
So, a forumite comes on and suggests it could be worthwile for punters to specialise a bit more in the bumper and beginner chase races as they are priced up overnight now, and may contain more price ricks than the handicaps do, in general.
An interesting point that some other enthusiasts might not have been aware of, despite the negative response...... |
