This guy was the big loser at the Festival last week primarily due to the incompetence of the pilots he used. DON COSSACK and NO MORE HEREOS .....enough said. And then TAGLIATELLI...what a ride. BLESS THE WINGS almost taken out early. He could (probably should) have had 4 winners plus the charity race. What a return that would have been for a small string compared with WP Mullins. Elliott for my money is underrated and will do a Mullins at the festival sometime soon.

Good trainer, was a slight bit of a chip on his shoulder, not so much now.
not sure how anyone is going to do a Mullins when Mullins isn't going anywhere for the next 20 odd years. Dynasty at foot here.
One underrated factor with Mullins, it takes some personality to entice the chief exec of Barclays Bank to have all of his horses with you and it was Ricci that made all of that running. Does Gordon have that kind of engaging quality? No..... It is always interesting to hear Mullins talk horses, like listening to Weld without the condescension and O'Brien without the filter.
