Yes it was a parting crumb as I was going on a little sun holiday for a while roger.
Margarita's and senorita's were the theme of most of the days if you must know! Great music there too! You would have been in your f**kin element there roger now that I think of it! ![]() |

Ozy ;i see Betfair Irish Forum House Band representing Finland are well fancied to win, one of the reasons why i like the Eurovision.

![]() Catch Me, on lead vocals, is likely to act up and disrupt the entire shebang if things don't go their way. Had an email from the Head of Security in Vienna asking my advice on the best form of restraint. Replied that I had tried a variety of exotic straight jackets with little success. I felt the best way to becalm him was to distract him by asking him to compile a pointless, lengthy, tabulated list of say, all Eurovision entries alphabetically since the contest started. Oh and to always follow ever instruction/request with a symbol. |

Roger, are you in Vienna? I saw a man, courtside, in a sequined thong logging into betfair...
|
|
By:
Cheers lads. Totally forgot the qualifying was on tonight! Luckily enough it's the weakest part of the show.
The next qualifying one should be more interesting with Sweden. Always get the odd strange ones qualifying in these! |

"Rumors Of your Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated" Roger..

Have Russia slipped through the net?
|
|
By:
![]() When I first heard Russia I was impressed till the change in the song which didn't seem to go smooth. That plus the political problems should do for Russia, hopegully. |

The bloke who backed Finland to win the whole thing at 3/1 not on good terms with himself!

the exchange is all about giving polar opinions a chance to match their money.
Eurovision has been kind to me over the years, easier before the changed voting formula. I have risked the profits of 9 years in opposing 3 songs, one exited tonight finland, the other two I am against is Slovenia(popular ditty, lacks substance), and Australia. unless there is a mass Europe-wide jury love in with Australia it will not win simple. Roger De B has a good record in these novelty events, on this occasion I hope for my pocket that he is wide of the mark. |
|
By:
Frank, you ain't going to get the price of a pint laying Slovenia or Finland.
Gotta be better lays out there other than Australia. I don't know if it can get over the public apathy of it being non-European, maybe not, but IF it does, it's a good enough song to compete. |
|
By:
I like the Aussie song myself , but i cant understand why Spain is a 300/1 outsider, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUvIQNgg8Kw

By:
Guy has drawn to perform in the 1st half, not good...although Conchita pulled it off last year.
Russia has drifted from last night's 3.9 out to 6.4. Spain is a nice one, can't see it winning though, with no English. Guy's 2nd rehearsal is up on youtube now. |

I can see Sweden going off near Evs....

By:
Molly in Trap 2 tonight, not helpful.
Regarding the final running order, Roger, I hear something about it not being a random draw this year, rather some attempt to coordinate the type of song so as not to jar ???? |
|
By:
KL ..I only logged on to read your opinion but having missed Finland, Laying Australia at 11/1 or Slovenia at 60/1 appeals, best of luck
|
|
By:
hardly appeals that should have read

Get your phone out, Lapsy, and support our wonderful little Country.
Same goes for all you feckers up North; youse can be of some use to us tonight, for a change. |

By:
Molly's song is very weak live compared to the video....
I'm hoping Cyprus qualifies. Some price collapse on it! |
|
By:
Anyone watching in 3D, beware, Mr Cyprus's schnoz may frighten younger children and hoover up small untethered pets.
|
|
By:
Sweden up next, could win on the bridle.
|
|

What were the odds on someone picking out value bets of 1/60 and 1/11 but coincidentally the inverse of the OP's selections?
Unsporting/coincidental? |
|
By:
You getting your groove on for Eurovision, dj?
|
|
By:
Johnny's a good looking geezer.
You are allergic to big noses and Dundalk accents Ozy? What about Dundalk men with big noses that must have you sleepless at night? ![]() |
|
By:
Definitely not.
IMO anyone watching it should have a chat with themselves and anyone betting on it probably already is. |
|
By:
Very clever graphics on the Sweden song, would you take 2.4? Only for the big hitters
