We already know that Rothwell is possibly the worst trainer in the country and anyone who gets a horse off him immediately has a horse who is at least 2 stone well in!
Tom Cleary comes a close second!
His handling of General Bunching who runs tonight in Dundalk has been shocking.  The horse is an out and out miler but has been campaigned over further and in fairness has won over further.  Testement to the horses ability more than anything.  For anyone looking at the videos of his runs will see that the horse is a miler who likes to come off a fast pace.  Look at his win in Naas!  Has a small chance tonight but fear the shi te has been run out of him over further!

A LOT of trainers haven't a clue what they are doing.

True.  Some can train them but cant place them.  Others Cant train but can place them but its rare enough you can actually have a trainer that can do both.  Its Rothwell i cant understand.  The fella must have 60-70 horses and his stats are woeful.  The worst you could possibly see.  Yet mugs still have horses with the guy.  He must be some talker!  Fellas love throwing money away!  You only have to look at the transformation of a horse i have mentioned on here a few times Cross to Boston after a few days away from his stable!
