Is there any reason Aubrey isint riding Augustin in the bumper.
This lad was unfancied and a drifter in his Navan bumper however he travelled like a dream throughout the race, got caught flat footed but then stayed on like a good one.
I like Navan bumpers, that form is good enough to win a Clonmel bumper.

I like Perfect Woman in the first, this Blueprint mare has been twice runner up in Tramore maiden hurdles.
Her second to Sambremont is top notch form.

The well bred well hidden Coolaghknock Glebe got 10 pound for his gambled on victory in Clonmel a month ago.
He messed the start that day and found himself a long way back but still won easily, the two fallers at the second last were well beaten at the time, think he will win again with Jody McGarvey grabbing his chance.

Curragh na Gold looks to have got a very workable mark in the mares handicap hurdle. Finished behind some high quality horses in maidens last few runs, albeit beaten a long way. Last run has worked out particularly well, 2nd and 3rd have both come out and won since.

Opposition seems pretty exposed, dazzling suzie will be dangerous if she gets an easy lead but it seems unlikely tomorrow.

4/1 early doors seems generous.

Shocking card there tomorrow particularly in the context of punters paradise being only around the corner.

That was a poor bumper for Navan that Augustin ran in. Mullins strike rate with bumper horses on their second and subsequent start is considerably lower than their debut runners too. Could obviously collect but the likely short odds are unappealing.

One of the more interesting horses running tomorrow is Poker School in Carlisle. He has a somewhat unusual profile in that, after being bought from Hydes after winning a Limerick bumper last March he didn't reappear until January for Ian Williams. He has very quickly been handicapped and shaped as being well treated when 2nd last week in Doncaster. He should draw tomorrow for an in-form yard with the only proviso that this is his 5th run of the calendar year.

I heard that Patrick Mullins was roaring about Yorkhill in the Gowran bumper on saturday. Has a similar profile to Shaneshill having been bought from Wilson Dennison for the Whylies. This is the race Tell Us More won last year.

Wildman......... I don`t know if ur backing your opinions, but if u have backed Curragh Na Gold, I wud advise a lay-up in-running too. She looks a quirky one to me....... the cheek-pieces have helped a little to be fair but the head is still too high in the air for my liking, she may get out battled at the business end. And the time off the track is a little worry too.

Pretty Woman, not sure the step down in trip is what she wants???? looks a 2m6-3m horse to me, this looks a weak race though and she may get away with it but not convinced. And I expect she would want a strong gallop which is not certain either and the time off the track is a worry also.

I can see where u are coming from with these selections, but I have more negatives than positives on both races and I rather let the contests go. I`m sure there will be more solid races to get involved tomorrow- Saturday.

Yeah easy, i might revise actually, she possibly still carries the kink but the pace that DS went it might be the race collapsed around her. The yoke GOB put up was too keen. She probably has just improved but is still one to be wary of.
