Honestly, one could wait for the final 4 holes on Sunday night before having a bet as ‘The Bear Trap’ (holes 15-17) is the most famous stretch of holes on the Florida Swing.
As we saw last week at Riviera & Delhi, strange things do happen in golf ! Oddschecker have it down to these six Patrick Reed Brendan Steele Luke Donald Padraig Harrington Russell Knox Ian Poulter |
By:
Have laid Reed tonight , cant see him staying ahead , hopefully its played to the end on either Sun or Mon...
By:
Hope you're right WR, but Reed is not someone I would usually look to lay when he is in contention. He has a bloody good conversion rate.
Looks like they will do their best to get the 72 in, with a Monday finish confirmed. Its no certainty that will be enough time though. |

Hard to believe weather forecasts but today doesn't look that bad particulary later, tomorrow seems grand.Weather and delays have taken a bit of it but another cracking tournament.Hope it is 72 holes though 56 would probably be in Pods best interest. Only got in with an exemption it would be some feat for him,go on Padraig.
By:
Must mention Deplasterer, followed Pod over a cliff,he may well have been right as he is certainly on the way back, hope he has continued where ever he is.
By:
Yes good luck to Pod (and Deep). It would be great if he came back as not too old yet.
By:
I think im right in saying that POD has not won a PGA Tour since he changed his swing back in 2008, theirs lads on the forum will know for sure.
By:
Neither have I ...

Ye hopefully deeplaster has pod backed,

Round 3 suspended due to lightning.

Thats since yesterday afternoon Frank, due out at 3.00
By:
TX pa , hope Pod can win , a nice few bob in my a/c for Chentenham if he does.
By:
Ye hopefully he does it for you frank,

All in readiness for the Harrington slide down the leaderboard....sometimes a gradual process, sometimes a headlong plunge.
![]() |
By:
2 4 foot putts missed in first 7 holes is bad, normally he finds the blue on shot tracker, few twists and turns yet.
By:
Will someone tell him Ireland beat england it might stop the slide,

By:
POD could do with holing that par putt, or will be losing touch.
Left work, Luke was two behind.....got home 40 minutes later, he feckin 8 back ![]() |

Pod rallying,f reed awful today

Tell Reed to buzz off...
By:
I still Reed will have a big hand in this WR. I don't really fancy Poult to run away with it. And I would definitely prefer Reed in a scrap. And Pod!!
Laid Poulter just there at 1.97. 6pts Lay Ian Poulter @1.97(potential loss 5.82pts) |
By:
Poor finish from David Lingmerth to his third round, though it was his back 9 yesterday that done the real damage. Still a small chance of top 20. Will need a 66/67.
By:
Phil not dead in the water yet either. I have a feeling the final 18 holes might be a lot more exciting than the market expects.
By:
Pod hanging on in fairness to him,be nice to see a Poulter double and start his slide.
By:
He is Pa. Seems a lot more settled on greens now. Poulter was very close to DB on 17. Yard further right, he was wet. Lucky boy.
Keep the faith Frank!! |
By:
feck,way too risky pod
![]() |
By:
Seemed a bit early for such a risk alright. Maybe Reed reaching swayed him.
By:
That a boy Padraig
By:
Probably was Callit, cracker from Reed though a 1 in at least 5 shot, good par and no ground lost for Pod.
By:
POD CAN STILL WIN, ....I KNOW THESE THINGS
.. On a more serious matter i need Ian to make a few mistakes, Callit |
By:
P.S. its nice for a change to see all green on my golf bets, AS i said before i can still make 4 figures on Pod
By:
The only thing green about my bets this week, is the feckin recycling bin I stuck em in earlier!
By:
Frank , wish you well ,phew Reed just missed a birdle , Callit would love to see Ian win if Pod cant do the business ,just hope he dont get to gung ho ..setting up to be a cracker ,and I'm falling asleep ..

Adam Scott finally returns next week. Very long lay off. I know he is best fresh, and Augusta will be Plan A, but he could be leaving himself a bit short. Wonder has he been taking the extra time off to sort a new putter.
It's some lineup. |
By:
Casey coming with a rattle..
By:
...and then he'll start rattling!!
By:
Callit think he might be on the way back tbh , slowly getting it together recently , played very well last week ,has the power to reach the par 5s in two ,might be tempted to have a few bob on him for the masters ..
By:
He will never win a major. Hasn't got the balls for it. Most English dont

Great forecast for tomorrow.
It's Poulter's to lose. |
