Frank makes a good shout re PSG. They have 4 of Europe's great defenders and strikers as well as the best midfielder at present (Verrati). Hope they pound Chelsea at the bridge.

Thought it a poor game and lacked passion Frank, the atmosphere was woeful as well, bit spoilt over the last week with the golf,Celtic match and Tycoon Prince but tonight left me very underwhelmed and sorry i didn't watch wet nets or something.

i thought City played well in the 2nd half Pa;the sending off changed things, my son had Barca to win 3-1 ;none to pleased when Messi missed the peno in the last few secs.

You like Tycoon Prince too Pa? Potential superstar imo.
Anyone who thinks the Premiership is the best league in the world should stop thinking!! People watch it because they think they are meant to. Too thick to think for themselves. Read it, hear it....believe it. La Liga is completely different gravy. Look at the amount of Spanish v English quarter finalists in the last few years in CL. Chelsea fluked a win against BM, but overall the discrepancy in class has been shown in no uncertain terms. What amazes me is more people will watch a mundane premiership game on a Sunday afternoon, than will tune into a quality encounter in Spain in the evening. The reason being....everyone else does it, so I will too. |

Was very taken with Tycoon Prince as well Callit, beat a well touted horse easily and agree with him being a potential superstar.
Saturday,s bumper was interesting as well,Liz Doyle was up bright and early Monday morning to enter Golan Lodge for the festival bumper,i'm not so sure a lot of times a sustained run like that is always reproduced but would be an interesting longshot imo for one that wouldn't on the face of it be a "hyped up premiership player", Mullins one will win next time. Man city deserve a bit of credit for a better 2nd half but was shocked at their support when behind,a half hearted attempt at getting behind them was there before Barca scored. I,m certainly disillusioned with the premiership and you are spot on with the usually "mundane" Sunday games,i have long given up. |
