So one of Meath's most famous sons, Noel Meade, looks to be back in the big time with a fantastic team of horses for Cheltenham mainly thanks to Michael O'Leary and the Hunts. Fair play to him. It's not that long ago we'd be hearing about Meade's Festival record around this time of year but a first and a second from two runners at last year's meeting seems to have ended that theory.
Just looking at his possible runners, Wounded Warrior in the 4-miler, Very Wood in the RSA, Apache Stronghold in the JLT, Monksland in the Stayers and Road To Riches in the Gold Cup. A couple of nice novice hurdlers in Aengus & Snow Falcon plus surely one or two for the handicaps. I would say Meade fans who might have backed horses like Harbour Pilot, Aran Concerto, Sweet Wake, Iktitaf and Ned Buntline and horses like that over the years should be hopeful of a return this year:)
Also anyone know anything about Ned Buntline and Mullaghanoe River, their well being, etc, what are their targets if any?

Loved Aran Concerto,Shame he never fulfilled his undoubted ability :(
No horse Meade has trained has fulfilled it's potential sadly.
A lovely man and great crack. See he married a young lady last week.
He had great patience with Paul Cadbury during Pauls drinking days, If you want a good read Paul Carberry’s book ‘One Hell of a Ride’ . a very honest autobiography.
Frank , only finished reading that the other day , Paul's a bit of a lad alright...
I love watching Paul on a horse W/R , DO you remember his rideing on Harchibald v Rooster Booster Christmas Hurdle 2004, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmzbEW1oSWc i know you will enjoy this.
