I think it will be another Willie Mullins benefit day.
What will probably be unusual is he will have at least four winners with four different jockeys. Ruby Walsh,Tony McCoy,Brian Cooper and Patrick Mullins. |

like VENT DE LA COTE 3.15 won well lto, going to give Windsor park another chance took 7/1 e/w I think silver concord is a better horse on good ground?the bumper is a giggy fest, I know there was some upset faces when potters point was beat on debut, but I like archive to run him close at the prices..
|
|
By:
1.15 Officieux at 7/1 in an open race. Won well last time and runner up has franked the form
2.15 Identity Thief is a good price in a one horse market. 2.45 Apache Stronghold didnt quite get the trip last time and the shorter trip to suit. 3.50 Boston Bob should not be far away. Good luck all. |
|

Have also layed Alvisio , he won his maiden well , but what did he beat , very little imo and this is much tougher ...Keen Leader was on a thread over on the main forum last night , he's against PDB in the hunters chase , says hes a bleeder and due to bleed again ...
|
|
By:
I cant get over how short Alvisio Ville is. I'm not saying it wont win, it probably deserves to be fav, but only just. 2.4 is madness. There are plenty of plausible alternatives.
On another note, its refreshing how competitive it is, in contrast to the vast majority of Grade One novices over here these days. A cracking event, and makes up for the lack of class acts in the Big One. I will give Kalkir another chance. I though he had a couple of excuses at Xmas, and if he had not of ran there he would be 4-6 here. |
|
By:
heard a rumour that Kalkir is a NR in the opener but seeing as it hasnt been taken out yet..
Officiex ew for me provided we have the dead 8 IMO Sempre Medici is the best of Willies 4 so that'll do ew Valseur Lido, probably impresively the Hennessey is obviously wide open but im not put off by PT riding Boston Bob, ground has dried up plenty and i think thats key to the beast im a layer of Prince in the hunter chase good luck all |
|
By:
Kalkir definitely runs, ignore me

Two e/w bets for me today;
Silver Concorde 14/1 Wasn't a terrible run first time over hurdles and better ground will suit him better today. Could sneak into the frame. Shanahans Turn 16/1 Form of his two novice chase wins have held up okay and step down in trip and better ground should see an improved performance today. |

Silver Concorde Le Vent Dartan Lord Windemere Prince Du Beauchene Great days racing. |
|
By:
First Lieutenant E/W at 14/1.
He is the forgotten horse in what is a below average Hennessy. He finished ahead of Lord Windemere last time out, yet Lord Wind is trading at 6's. He has run 6 times at Leopardstown and only out of the frame once. Mouse Morris has his horses in fine form at the moment and I expect a big run. Blue Hell E/W @14/1. Lightly raced French Import who has acquitted himself well in some decent handicaps. Will need to win this to get into the County Hurdle which I suspect is a target. He is coming back from a 9 month lay off but has run well when fresh. He has been drifting in the betting all morning so late money would be significant in what is a very tricky race. However, Blue Hell has more potential than most in the race. |

Well done workrider your off to a great start,

WD Workrider!
Sempre Medici is a decent e/w bet for me....decent on the flat in France won an admittedly poor maiden hurdle in heavy ground in Cork and would have been a lot closer to the winner last time but for a bad mistake at the last....lovely moving horse which todays better ground should suit. |
|
By:
